Although I adjust it from time to time, my current preference is:

My Macbook's name is "Voyager 1", so I wanted an appropriate desktop.

Wallpaper is of a clear glass Dala horse I have, that I placed in front of the Christmas tree and took photos of with my Fuji camera. In case you might be wondering what a Dala Horse is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dala_horse
Everyone is out being festive and I still think I'm a teenager.. only difference is I'm running Tahoe and not Tiger.. much to my chagrin.
My dock is usually hidden. Using "Himalayan Peaks" as I think it goes really well with the blue MBA.
On Tahoe now, don't really see what all the moaning was about. Works well enough for me. 👏
Outside of some UI inconsistencies, which are purely cosmetic related and have no bearing on my day to day, I have had zero issues with Tahoe.
