When did your credit card get charged? I ordered mine the same day and had the same ETA but my card was charged two days ago...
I ordered a 1.2 and 1.3 on the same day, and the 1.3 is Preparing for Shipment, 14 days earlier than expected. Seems like their production times are improving.

I woke up to see that it suddenly moved to shipped during the night. I didn't get a chance to see any 'preparing for dispatch'.
Looks like my choice of ordering the USB-C adapter is going to hold things up a bit as my rMB needs to meet up with it before they can be sent to me as one delivery.
Delivery estimate is now 11th June so a week from today. Anyone received their rMB + USB-C adapter any sooner than this??

Just figured I'd say that my [wife's] gold 1.3/512 arrived the other day.
Ordered 4/11, delivery window of 5/19~6/2. Shipped 5/27. Arrived 6/1. So made it with one day to spare. Really sad because a friend of mine ordered a space grey 1.3/512 the day after I ordered the gold one. He received it nearly 3 weeks ago.
The system is great. Keyboard takes a bit of getting used to, but it's awesome. I would have gladly sacrificed a millimeter or two of thinness if Apple would have extended the screen out closer to the edges of the display frame. As Dell has done with the XPS 13. And no, I'm not saying I want things to be larger, I'd like to just have more pixels.
That is one of my only two complaints about the system. The screen is wonderful, but given how precision-fit everything else is on the system, it seems a shame to have such a relatively large bezel area around the display. That and it really needs a second USB-C port. Even with a bunch of new USB-C / 3.1 products hitting the market, we're still doomed to using adapters most of the time just to have an external SSD and power connected at the same time.

You do seem to have been unlucky I ordered my gold 1.3/512 on 26 April and received yesterday (my delivery window was 1-12 June and it shipped on 30/31 May - sometime thru the night). So ordered 14 days after you but received only 2 days later.
Got mine today - ordered 5/8, ETA 6/22, card charged 6/1, arrived in store for pickup today 6/4
you will get it way sooner. I ordered a day before you and shipped yesterday.
We'll see. After waiting until the last possible day of my Apple Watch's estimated delivery window to actually get the watch, I have learned not to expect anything sooner than what is quoted.
cos 9 how is that even possible. I ordered 29th of May morning 1.3, 512 and is due to deliver 26th of June to 9th of July. Still processing. I hope it get it asap.
Finally sucked it up and placed my order on 6/6... ETA 7/8 - 7/21.

Ordered 1.3, 512 GB silver, on May 20th, PFS today, June, 7th, and credit card has pending charge (not yet for the AppleCare)...not too bad. I paid for the faster shipping, so hope to get by Wednesday!
Basically my order exactly. Here's the timeline for ordering my gold MacBook 1.3GHz / 512GB:
- Order placed May 21st at 10:56PM PST with a shipping estimate of 3 - 5 weeks and a delivery estimate of June 18th - July 1st via expedited shipping.
- Card was charged for the expedited shipping when the order was placed, but not for the MacBook. The charge was then removed, and finally replaced on June 4th at 6:52pm PST.
- Card initially charged for the MacBook at 12:00am PST on June 7th. My bank sent me a push notification that it was declined, so I fixed the issue and had Apple successfully recharge me from their order status page within 30 minutes of the declined charge.
- Order status page went down a few minutes later, so couldn't check when the status changed to Preparing for Shipment, but it did the next morning when the page was back up and checked.
- Shipment Notification email sent at 12:00am PST on June 8th.
- Estimated delivery date for expedited shipping via FedEx is June 11th, as stated in Apple's email, but FedEx states June 10th by 10:30am.

We didn't get the option of selecting, or indeed paying extra for expedited shipping in the UK. Just standard shipping. However when mine was dispatched UPS tracker said it was on expedited shipping!
UK orders generally get the fastest shipping by default - there isn't anything quicker. If it's in stock at Syncreon's warehouse it usually arrives next day after dispatch, otherwise it's air freight direct from China that can't be sped up.
Actually...although due in (according to UPS) Wed, June 10, I just received the MacBook, today, June 9th...no email or UPS alert or Deliveries update! WOW!
