I do love my new rMB. It is prestine.
I was charged about a week before it shipped. I then got it roughly five days later.
I finally gave up on Apple direct. Originally ordered a 1.3GHz in mid-April, then changed the color in early May. Macconnection had the exact model I wanted so I ordered from them and got it today. I'm normally fine with the extra time to get a BTO, but this has been ridiculous.
It's been really hard for me to wait (as I changed colors too). I was so hard seeing so many people have them before mine arrived. Now that I have my 1.3GHz version, it is worth it.

Still setting up my 1.3GHz. The Geekbench scores aren't quite as good as I was expected, I'm hoping myself there is still some indexing going on though I don't really see anything in Activity monitor. The disk scores do seem a little higher than the 1.2 model.
Weird that you already got charged. I ordered the same build as you (1.3 sg 512) on 5/8, got charged for AppleCare the same day (5/8) and the digital AV multiport on 5/19 (originally said 3-4 weeks) which is "shipping to store". I haven't been charged for the actual MacBook yet, still showing available 6/22.
This is to the main Apple Store in San Francisco.
I ordered on a Thursday and it was here by Monday morning. That said, it was listed as 'in stock'. I took the configuration that would get here the fastest while meeting my needs (1.3 ghz, 512 mb).
Mine is still processing, ordered on April 28th, delivery estimate Jun 1 - Jun 12. I expect it to ship by the end of next week / next week-end.

Someone on the European thread got very similar situation - all identical except now updated to dispatched and due for delivery 29/5.
My credit card showed the payment as pending on Saturday but am still processing. Don't expect to see actual charge on my credit card til tomorrow at least since it's a UK bank holiday today. I ordered same as you but in gold and on the 26th. I would have been happy if it arrived before next weekend but now I see orders from day before me due to arrive this week am hoping early next week!

Mine still shows Preparing for Shipment and the date hasn't changed, but Fedex tracking shows it has been picked up. If you're in Boston, I would bet it will be delivered on Thursday too if you paid for expedited shipment.
I hope so. how do get advance info from fedex? I am registered with my current address but never got notified as I do with UPS... is there anything i need to do other than just registration on fedex.com? :-(

Picked it up from FedEx distribution this evening. They left a delivery notice this afternoon without ringing my door bell, #.
It had a 89% charge, so I've started using Setup Assistant with an external USB drive that has a cloned backup of my main system. Initial estimate for migration was 52 minutes via USB-C to USB 3 connection.
Going smoothly, 18 minutes remaining.
6 a.m. this morning I received text that my rMB (Space Grey 1.3, 512) has been shipped to arrive by 8 p.m. Monday June 1st. Getting closer
