On 4/13 I ordered 1.2/512 Gold from the US, got shipping date May 19-June 2. Today asked to have it altered to 1.3/512 Gold since it was scheduled to take so long anyway. After about 45 minutes of online chat, haven't gotten a new date quoted yet. Maybe there's an issue related to my non-standard keyboard, not sure.

I responded with a possible date estimate in the other 1.3 thread based solely on a simulated checkout on the apple store this evening. I would be very surprised if they were able to change your order and keep the date static considering I hit a wall with them by simply trying to upgrade the shipping to 2-3 business day... Hopefully they do and I can talk to them again citing your example as grounds that changes can be made while still processing.

I'm not expecting it to be static, but I would have liked it to be a little simpler for them to tell me what the effect on the shipping time would be. Since I'm ordering a non-standard keyboard, I think the number of people ordering my configuration should be small in the US; I shouldn't really be competing with anyone in that regard. How they feel about processing a non-standard keyboard over here in relation to orders made in countries that like that sort of keyboard, I don't know. Hope you have success.

Edit: Officially June 3-June 16, not given the option to decide before the two before they canceled the earlier one.

Was supposed to arrive Wednesday. Received the email this morning and I ran down to the Apple store as fast as I could.

This think rocks!:D

got my 1.3 512 Space Gray today, but I haven't opened it since I was offered $2300 for it. What to do. I will probably sell it and place a new order, that's like 500 free dollars

As a side note FedEx did something incredible today I got home from work at about 3pm and noticed the doortag for the missed shipment. I was kind of upset because I was going to have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up. I filled out a hold request online and then the doorbell rang a half hour later. it was fedex! the guy said he saw my request and wanted to save me the trip since he was on his way back anyway! Never had that happen before.

Sell it!

Who offered you the $2300? Some random stalker at Apple?

Post your ETA for rMB 1.3 BTO

That company is extremely well run

It seems the first round of people receiving 1.3Ghz MacBooks are all Space Grey. Im hoping the next round is Gold.

Did anyone outside of US receive Space Grey yet?

I'm in New Zealand and Apple said it would be delivered today 28/04 but its just left Auckland for my city and I'll expect it'll be here tomorrow morning.

I don't think apple provides an exact date, but a date range, so assumedly 28th was the start of your delivery range? But anyway thats great news. I assume yours is a space grey?

I ordered the Space Grey 1.3/256 and my original ETA was May 4-11 but when it shipped it changed to 28th April. It was a public holiday on Monday in NZ so I guess that if it weren't so then it would've been today.

Awesomeness. Mine is Gold, and is due May 5 onwards (one day after yours). So with any luck a run of Gold models is about to come out.

(Expecting 1.3Ghz Gold -> Australia May 5)

I ordered a Space Gray version on 4/27, and current ship date is June 3-16th. Hopefully will be pleasantly surprised by an early ship date, but I can easily survive until then.

Grey 1.3./512
7th-14th May, UK

Ordered 5 minutes after launch, not charged yet and still says processing. Early delivery not meant to be for those in the UK.

I don't think it's a UK issue . If you look carefully only Space grey has been delivered so far. It would seem silver/gold. (1.3ghz) production not yet out of the factory.

Preparing for dispatch!!!!
Any idea how long from now until it's in my hands?

Good look to everyone else in Europe!

Same for me, was supposed to arrive today (29th) it came Monday (27th) I was driving out of town on business, made a U-Turn to grab it, thinking at first I can use it for some presentations! Nope, no Dinglies for that. I was able to get a USB-C that for just $20 converts my baby to the USB type we use here in 2015.

To my surprise my first client had a time machine! he took me to 2017 and sure enough, they had a USB-C connection from their presentation monitor! :)

While there I checked - The next round of MacBook Pro's are 14" and 16" they only have one USB-C like the rMB and they are selling large rolls of Duct Tape in the Apple store to keep the various adaptors together! A 25' roll of iDuct is $69 though :(

I hope you get it! My wife and Daughter had their Gold rMB before I got my SG in the USA. Must be a shortage of Gold for the plating process.

I am glad I continued reading the paragraph, because I was going to interject that a "time machine" BACKUP was not going to solve your compatibility issue with the projector

Ordered 1.3/Gold/512 12 hours after ordering opened. To Australia, delivery window 7th-14th.

Credit card charged this morning. Not yet moved off processing items though.
