Thanks Man!!! I love my Klipsch's One day ill get some Reference Mains but for now I see no reason as these sound damn good.

Reference ones are even better. Still, those are years light better than any Bose or such speakers out there ;) Yours are older so they are probably better than the current Synergy line, but, if you're up for an upgrade some Reference's won't let you down :p

I would totally buy an Apple TV just because Im a lazyass and dont like to kneel down and put DVD's in the player.
But if I can do it with an Xbox, then screw Apple TV...

...until I break down and just buy it :p

The selection of movies in XBL, is not so great. Plus I hate that you have to buy points to rent a movie... Just let me buy it, so I don't have left over points sitting there...

I doubt I'll ever use the traditional Xbox route to rent/buy movies. Instead, I'll just do the itunes thing.
I like buying the hard copy and ripping it to iTunes anyway.

Monday night football???

Wii is behind the TV on the left, the :apple:TV is on the right hand side near the base of the TV. Since the Wii is bluetooth I don't need line of sight.

The JMLabs are on the speaker stands to the left and right of the dresser.

HD Cable Box and DVD Player are on the floor underneath the dresser, and the Panamax and Denon are behind the dresser on a piece of plexi. Hence the use of the Niles IR Repeater system. The IR eye is at the middle of the TV stands pillar.

I like to keep my setups clean.

Yes, Monday Night Football. Giants vs. Browns

oh okay. Well sorry bout that "why is my font so small" . I don't know why, but my Safari decided to be stupid and make everything small..so I had to restart Safari.

I posted before, but I have made a few changes since I last put up a picture so here is a new one.

42" Toshiba REGZA 1080p LCD TV
Yamaha RX-V663 7.2 channel receiver (Dolby True HD and DTS HD/MA decoding)
Panasonic BD30 Blu-ray disc player
Philips 3575H HDD-DVD recorder
Bose Acoustimass 16 speaker system
Wii
and you can't see it but there is also an Airport Express so I can send iTunes music from my iMac to my reciever.

All right, so I finally got a decent tv! Here's the newly-set-up... setup.

40" Samsung 1080p LCD
80 GB PS3
1 TB Time Capsule
Motorola DVR
Harman/Kardon Soundsticks II
G-Tech 1 TB G-Drive Q connected to DVR via eSATA

Obviously, I haven't hidden the wires yet, but try to ignore them.

Edited to add: I'm sure I'll break down and get an tv soon enough, but I feel like if I were to get one now, it'll be refreshed in January!

that seems like it might be uncomfortable to watch being that it's mounted so high, i realize that you have a light switch there and can't bring it lower though.

updated mine

I got tired of waiting for a Mac Mini refresh, so I built a HTPC. Nice Lian Li case, good Asus motherboard w/ HDMI, 2 gb, old 200 GB IDE drive I had laying around.

Only used for NetFlix, Hulu, iTunes. No DVR, don't have (or want) cable TV or satellite. Maybe I'll get around to ripping all the DVDs some day.

More pictures here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bwa32/sets/72157607678918613/

The speakers are JBL E80s (left/right), JBL EC35 center; Monoprice cables throughout; Onkyo 705 receiver. There's an AirPort Express hidden in the back, along with a 5 port Ethernet switch. There is a gigabit Ethernet drop behind the bookcase.

TV is an older 55" Sony 720p that I got on clearance 18 months ago for a ridiculously low price.

Rear speakers are cheap Polk Monitor 40s; in-wall wiring is Monster. Wall plates and jacks are overpriced Levitons (didn't know Monoprice sold them when I did the wall plates, oh well).

I was afraid of that, too, when I hung it, but it's actually at a great height. The angle in the makes it look higher than it is, too. The bottom of the screen is at eye level, so I barely have to look up at all. Although, to be fair, if the light switch wasn't there, I probably would've put it lower (it's centered between the light switch and the top of the doors on either side), but I really like where it ended up.
