According to yet another swedish store, Webhallen.com "the supplier is out of stock", don't know if that would be Apple themselves or a supplier further down the line.

You're so cool.

Wouldn't say cool, just older and wiser.

Life's too short to expend valuable time waiting for something that may or may not come tomorrow.

Tonight you could take out the garbage and get hit by lightning!

But hey it's all good, one must take entertainment wherever it is provided and the " waiting/speculating " threads provide some.

definitely. im entertained by posts from people like you.

either you dont know the meaning of the word wise, or you think that 2012 imac already came out. which one is it?

a refresh within a month, you have a computer you can work on, and you buy now? stupid as it gets... and definitely not wise, but certainly old.

Sometimes I wonder if the ignorant customer is happier than the informed one...

there's nothing to wonder about, ignorant one is definitely happier

I had no idea about refresh cycles when I came aboard the Mac train. Bought a shiny mid-range 21.5" iMac on May 25th, 2010 based on intel Core 2 Duo. Beautiful computer, best machine I ever owned, love, love, love it. Five months later entire line refreshes with Sandy Bridge processors and greatly improved GPUs. Hmm. Still happy, still loving it, but now I've got a pebble in my shoe . . .

How is may 2010 + 5 months = may 2011

Just thought we should have a place to gather all the info on slipping iMac shipping dates. It might be tomorrow (1. may) or much later, but lets keep updating this thread when we notice changes:) But lets keep talk about specifications and anything else not related to shipping dates off this thread.

Current :apple:Store iMac Status 4/5:

US: In stock
UK: In stock
DE: In stock
DK: In stock
SE: In stock
AU: In stock
NL: In stock
AT: In stock
CA: In stock

Others:
Amazon.com: In stock (Stock increased)
BestBuy: In stock (canada - low)
Amazon.co.uk: In stock (iMac called may 2011 - double digits)

Updating from posts but only iMac:)

Now updated from post and pages... Lets focus on shipping dates not who is wise and who is old. If you find joy i small things you enjoy a happy life.

While I would definitely like this to be a sign, I'd just like to remind everyone that there was enough of a supply shortage of MBPs by the 10th of April for MacRumors to put it on the front page, and we still haven't seen those get updated.

I hope that we all wake up Tuesday morning to new iMacs, but I am getting more and more skeptical that we won't see them until June or July.

May or bymid june. Not july

Now the stockists aren't restocking as they don't want to get landed with too many outdated machines when apple are past due to put an upgrade out ... That's all any of this means probably

UK is at 1-2 Business days due to bank holiday Monday.
Not living in the UK, I have to ask, do bank holidays count as business days? I ask this as holidays in the US don't count as business days and wouldn't affect a business day based shipping estimate.

Yeah true, if I was a 3rd party reseller there'd be no way I'd be ordering a bunch of new iMacs only for me to have to put them on discount in a few weeks.

I'm suprised Apple doesn't tell 3rd party resellers even a small amount of info like which quarter to expect them roughly. I'd hate to run a shop and not know anything about my stock...

No bank holidays are pretty much like sundays, limited services (depending on where you live).

Currys in the UK doing a big clearout on refurbed iMacs. Big discounts and promo ends on Monday....

The earliest pieces are falling into place. However if the past is any guide, Euro shortages usually precede refreshes by around TWO weeks, not one, so we're looking at May 15th for an update, not May 8th. Foxconn will stop filling crates for Europe before they stop filling them for North America, because it takes longer to ship to Europe and it's no good if stock of the old model shows up AFTER the announcement (or arrival!) of a refresh.

If I was a gambler, I would take odds on May 15th.

I7 not available at local Apple store near me.

I was looking today at the Imac and noticed that when I configure it with the I7 option it is not available to be picked up at my local Apple store and not available till May 16th at the other stores near me? Estimated home delivery is May 15th?

I5 models are available for store pickup still.

Once you make custom changes, it is not available for pickup because they have to make the change.

Also, in case no one has posted this yet (I don't have time to read what's already been posted), I just noticed this on the Apple store. Definitely hasn't been there the past few days:
