Something is definately happening here in scandinavia, two stores that are part of the company "Komplett Group" (which claims to be the largest online-chain in scandinavia for electronics) have very very few iMacs left, for 5-6 configurations there's 2-3 left in each, and a few are completely out of stock, and it seems new shipments are coming May 11, though this date is marked as "not yet confirmed".

Komplett are a big reseller.

On bespoke machines, there's a slight change in shipping dates provide by apple.com in the UK, previously 1-3 days now showing 4 business days. This only changed today

amazon.co.uk doesn't seem to have any of the i7 iMac range but it has the entry level (i5, 500GB HDD) 21.5" 'in stock' and providing 8% discount. Entry level 27" also in stock and 7% discount, 27" with Radeon HD 6970 In stock and 9% discount

In the UK, Argos have no stock available for home delivery of the base 21.5". No idea when that happened though, I have only checked today. Maybe that is significant, maybe not?

In Canada, the Best Buy website is running really low on all iMac configurations. Most range from only 3 -5 units in stock. Future Shop is ranging from 5-8 units in stock on all configurations.

The Amazon discounts are interesting. 27" i5 iMac down from 1649 to 1498. 150 off. I haven't seen that before.

21.5" and 27" BTO iMacs (excluding RAM upgrades) on the UK store now shipping in 4 business days.

I am not 100% sure but I think that the discounts have always been there.

I say this because I remember thinking that the amazon prices were similar to buying from apple via the educational store when I was looking awhile back.

Some more info on this:
Amazon is selling the computer quoted above for $1607 (new). $1498 is for a used model.

Best Buy online also charges $1607 for this model.

So, unfortunately, these tidbits don't really say anything revelatory.

Peter Griffin: "Look! My Alpha Bits cereal spell 'OOOOOO', do you think it's a sign?"
Brian: "Peter, you're eating Cheerios!"

As I enjoy my new computers and cameras I enjoy watching the 'waiters' play their games!

The below quote says it all ........

Peter Griffin: "Look! My Alpha Bits cereal spell 'OOOOOO', do you think it's a sign?"
Brian: "Peter, you're eating Cheerios!"

i am getting 2-4 day shipping on any CTO iMac options now. the past days were mostly 1-3, some 2-4 but now its majority 2-4. Since the rumor mill and stock stories have been quiet for many weeks + a supposed 7970m certification + people are not buying iMac now cause new models coming hence enough stock ,

I now peg any Pre june iMac to be here by wednesday may 23

I'm not seeing anything in this thread that would indicate new models being introduced shortly. But omg I can't wait to see what is coming around the bend! :D I'm such a geek!

Im still getting 2-4 days shipping on CTO

With all the chatter today for times and stock for 3rd parties, i think we can say its the beginning of the end
