Currys, which is probably one of, if not the biggest computer supply company in the UK, is running low on stock too. They are completely out of all current gen iMacs besides the highest spec 27" which has 2 left in stock. All of their refurbished iMac's are out of stock too, but for the 27" which has 2 left in stock.

I notice sister shop pc world is now out of stock online apart from upper 21inch.

Suddenly tomorrow seems more possible.

Cyberport.de (one of Germany's biggest computer reseller) lists 40 out of 42 MacPros and 29 out of 42 iMacs out of stock - no restocking dates

from unreliable sources I´ve heard August....fits with the current availability everywere.
There´s not been a single leak or proper rumor yet, Apple is in stock everywere and probably selling those imacs slow as hell because everybody is sitting on the fence waiting....So, just prepare for a long summer in agony with sun and beer and no iMac.

Those sources must be incredibly unreliable. If anything the iMac would be pushed up to WWDC, and it certainly wouldn't take to August for them to start shipping, I'm not saying your source is wrong, I'm just saying it doesn't make sense in any way.

Sounds good to prepare for a long summer with beer and sun. But also now and then the iMac. I simply don't believe your unreliable source. How can anyone, it's unreliable?! ;)

A complete and utter lie. All base models in stock, and BTO options 4 business days delivery as reported from other Scandinavian countries.

Shame on you.

When I tried ordering half an hour ago, I got the message: delivery on 16. may.
I'm sorry if this upsets you, no reason to get nasty...

As much as we all want to see the release I don't think we will learn anything from stock at various places across the globe. Why? Well for one you can see that people lie. And apple are not going to know how many units to keep in stock prior to a refresh. Think about it. When do they have to submit there stock requests by? These things ship in from the other side of the globe from most of us.
I think it's going to be in the next few weeks. We just all have to be patient.

I hope the lack of rumors means we have to wait for WWDC and an iMac redesign.

I hope that Apple would prefer to release them before WWDC on the premise that attendees would like to have their hands on 'em and have meaningful points to discuss, rather than arrive with information/questions all based on abruptly obsolete models.

I hope we get an update this week or next before any redesign as I personally think that the iMac is perfect as it is right now! Perhaps then they reveal a new iMac model or new iMacs on WWDC and release them later this year!

OK so we are not talking about a lie but a misunderstanding. If ordering in Norway the standard is to send a shipment as standard mail. That means that the mail takes 3-7 business days after shipment, i.e. it might reach up to the 16th if the product is in stock.

In this thread we are talking about claimed days for Apple to ship. The number of days it takes for the mail service in the respective countries is irrelevant.

My bad! Sorry. I'm waiting so hard for the new iMac, so this was probably a result of wishful thinking :)

Now shipment days for BTO iMacs on the Swedish apple store has gone down to 1-3 days again from 4 days the last days. Too bad, or a sign that the refresh is happening today?
