Widgets would make the home screen look cleaner if they didn’t have text underneath them:

This thread is funny. A bunch of OCD geeks like myself who in reality, won't actually pay much attention to the friggin widgets, but getting them to look cool is important to us, lol.

Speaking of OCD... On my first page I have the few apps I use most and on page 2 everything else ..

That’s not Push. You launched the app, that’s why it fetched new mail. Push is when it automatically fetches new mail as it arrives even when the phone is locked, disconnected from power and WiFi.

Test your Mail app again, and you’ll see that it won’t fetch new google mail until you open the app.

Google themselves have stated that there’s no Push for Gmail in Apple Mail for iOS.

Right, I get that. I still get unread notifications though. It doesn't bother me that the mail gets fetched when I open the app; that's less of an inconvenience to me than having to launch two separate mail clients to read my mail.

That’s exactly what my page two used to look like. I removed all folders and added them all to library. In hindsight, I also just could have hid the page.

That’s cool with the iPhone. How did you do it?

There's an app for that.

Almost every screenshot has the settings.app on the homescreen. Can't understand why, are you guys meddling with your settings that much? Really no other app that's more used to take it's place?

takes one ”click” less than controlcenter to go into bluetooth options, that i use almost everyday. But now when airpods soon get automstic switching many not needed

Why do you have cloud icons next to your app names? Never seen that before...
It means they are off-loaded in the cloud and not installed on your phone. It does this when an app is infrequently used to save space. The process is not new to iOS14, but the cloud badge under it is new.
