:O that's amazinnng... How did you get the lock screen wallpaper? Is there some sort of app to blur your home screen except for the apple logo like that?? I would really like to do something like this lol just with my own wallpapers...

I actually just took a screenshot of my home screen and blurred it on Photoshop.

Can you please share the lockscreen wallpaper.

Thanks
Sal

It's a screen shot of my home screen

I'm very inexperience in photo shop lol. Can you give me some basic instructions on how you would blur everything but an apple logo?

----------

Ah, that's what I was afraid of lol. I'm no good at Photoshop, don't even own a copy of my own.

I can't afford photoshop. I make a new Adobe account every month and use the free trial. I know I'm an ******* but you got to look at it this way that's money Adobe wouldn't have gotten anyway so at least this way I'm learning how to use Adobe products. And then one day when I get a job I will be able to purchase photoshop :)

My iPhone 6 screenshots

My iPhone 6, some details:
1. I like it to keep it very simple.
2. I keep wallpaper for both lock & home screen the same for consistancy.
3. Dark coloured wallpaper looks better than light coloured.
4. Enabling touch ID hides "slide to unlock" text for minimalist look.
5. I don't play games & use social networking apps on iPhone. There is a PC with unlimited internet for that.
6. The wallpaper has a nice grainy texture which contrasts well with flat & light coloured icons.
7. When opening folder, the blurred wallpaper looks good.
8. In multi-tasking view, the app name should stand out.
9. I don't use widgets in Today view.
10. In control centre, I keep bluetooth, wifi off. And brightness at minimum, volume at maximun. changing these settings when necessary.

Nicely done sir! I love the simplicity and originality of this. Kudos. ;)

Hope you don't mind, but I'm going to copy this idea for my own lock screen.

Lol already went there and copied it. I don't have the clear Apple logo, but what I have is still really good I think... I pretty much used aviary for the blurring, an app on my iPhone. Just turn down sharpness, then turn down the sharpness of that picture, then the next one, etc. took over 20 pictures to get this much blur but it was definitely worth it! It's easy to delete them anyway.

Why didn't you just download an app that blurs the screen for you? Blurred Lite is a free one.

I'll be using photoshop for mine. Easy enough to create.

Meh, I already had aviary and knew exactly what to do, and was on LTE so downloading apps can sometimes not be very friendly to my data limit.

And I can't use photoshop because I don't have it. I still got a blurred home screen in the end, right? :p

Spent a few minutes on my iPad, using PS Touch and came up with this.
