Was up in the Southwest Harbor/Bar Harbor area of Maine all last week and had the GM of iOS 6 on my 4S. I took this towards the top of Cadillac Mountain.
how do you get so much resolution?? from what i see resolution changes from panorama to panorama. idk why though.
4s vs. 5 in terms of difference in height. Width depends on how much you pan the camera. You can stop it at any time along the path.
Someone should take a vertical panorama of a skyscraper, I bet that would look awesome.
Ill get one when I can.

Aptos Beach looking west. iPhone 4S Original is 4MB. This “Large” emailed to my iPad copy is 1MB. Printing 2 feet by 10-12 feet (not sure how wide it is) on state of the art EPSON printer at Walgreens in 1-2 hours for about $30 dollars including 40% off Banners sale they had yesterday for my best friend's 60th birthday present. That's him in the picture shooting more Panoramas with his iPhone 4S.

Thanks. Beautiful park and the new camera worked great! I have neuro problems, and my shakiness didn't seem to affect the sweeping shot at all! Great image stabilization.
