It's truly amazing that people are going crazy over finally having wallpapers...

When you look at it, its just the same icons over and over and over again. Gets boring after about 3 screen shots.

I like mine simple:

Where did you get that background? :)

Wait until you see the jailbreak versions when we can change icons and layouts by using widgets. Jailbreak will never go away until users can change wallpaper, icons and add widgets. Patiently waiting for 4.0 jailbreak:D:D:D

This is what my iPhone used to look like...

Well, no folders on my first page, but did eliminate one extra page by stuffing apps onto the second page. Grew quite fond of the solid black background so something subtle is very nice. Dunno where the wallpaper came from, some theme I think.

Can't seem to get a blank first screen. How did you do that? I tried on iTunes via the App tab to move the whole screen, and looks like it's going to do it, but then after I sync, it's moved everything up one.

I manually did it. Not through Itunes but just on the phone itself. If you do it through Itunes then it moves them all back in first page.

Circuit Board

madagi, did you make those? Any chance you can post the source for the logo/circuit board image?

I wish I had a smoking hot lock, but its not "professional". Heres one that works well for me. It looks good with all the blue.

also for anyone looking for images, tinyeye is a reverse image finder. Upload any version of an image you like and it will find the rest on the net. Its meant to check copyright, but handy when you want full res versions of stuff.

I can't wait to upgrade to iPhone 4 in December! YEA!

Gizmodo has an iphone app? How did you get that?

It's probably just a link bookmarked on Safari and he added it to his home screen. You just open Safari, then hit the "+" at the bottom, and hit "Add to Home Screen." In case you were wondering how to.

EDIT: Didn't see your post Airborne... Sorry.

So I downloaded iOS4, but I can't make my background a picture and I don't have the folders. I'm on a 3G. Anyone know what to do? Do I need to restore and try again?

Here's mine. Been playing through RE2 so it my homescreen feels appropriate.

Also, so excited that Futurama's back this week!:D
