Yeah. I prefer less busy home screens too. If the image is busy, then I add some blur to it, the make the icons stand out.

Completely stumbled on this by accident at a Denny's with a paper place mat.

Do you have an iPhone 4?

If you do, just simply place you iPhone 4 on a sheet of colored paper and take a picture. The iPhone 4 has to caseless, no protective film on the back and the flash has to be on.

Play around with different colors and different kinds of paper. Once you have the look you like, just e-mail that image to yourself and open that e-mail on your iPad.

Minor changes to an existing wallpaper:
Basically I mirrored it(car was driving on the wrong side of the road, ), and I blurred it.

That's Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, HI, specifically the hotel right next to the Royal Hawaiian (big pink hotel).

My favorite stretch of beach in Waikiki especially because of the epic breakfast you can get at Dukes (the restaurant which the photog is standing in taking this shot)
