The app seems like exactly what I'm looking for but I got the same message here.
FYI the fixed version of TruSloMo is now live on the App Store. This should solve all the "only works on iPhone 5S" issues that some users had.

Yep, TruSloMo allows you to send your slo-mo videos over WhatsApp. It allows you to use the slo-mo videos with ANY app that can import videos from the camera roll. And it eliminates the silly need to email the slo-mo video to yourself, AirDrop it to another phone, etc.

Nope. Just the stock app and clipped together on iMovie on the phone. Not bad for a phone

Don't. Other than maybe LiveLeak it's not clever or funny. What you couldn't see was me with my back against the wall in a small room taking a video of my kid knocking down a tower. Why do you think the video would be better cut off at her neck at the top and knees at the bottom?
If the narrow video bothers you then move closer to the monitor. If the letterbox bothers you complain to Google or download the video and play in QuickTime that accommodates the aspect.

Two more. Please no aspect comments. One a soda bottle "rocket" at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI). It's a hands-on science / technology fun house. My nine year old now knows the "joy" of getting too close to a Van de Graaff generator. They grow up so fast and when properly motivated jump so high.
