Is anyone else FaceTime icon not changing or getting themed? I tried checking the bundles and folder in the theme folder.....maybe I didn't name it correctly.

Leave it to Ms. LEXS to set the bar high. Well done... and glad to see you back in action.

Thank You :)

Welcome back LEXS1411,

Love your lockscreen, I'm also going to steal it when I receive my iPad 2 in the mail. Guess their is no real point in making themes now since your just going to post better ones like always! =P

I got mine to theme and can confirm what was just stated above:

Folder Name: com.apple.mobilephone

Icon Name: Icon-FaceTime~ipad.png

I have to tell you I am loving my iPad 2 :) You must post Themes when you get yours as it gives everyone ideas.

Plus It's hard to keep up with all the name changing of icons etc here and the iPhone (The memory is not as good :D)

Then I guess in a few months time it will change again.

I am sure you will have great fun with your new iPad

ECUpirate44 Put this into com.apple.TelephonyUI file this will remove the bar along the bottom

http://www.box.net/shared/t66vldt3grzer4fqdkua

To have the bar transparent in the status bar make a copy of the above
and name it BarLCD_T.png and place that in com.apple.TelephonyUI
Hope that helps

Worked great to get rid of the slider, but no luck fixing the status bar.
Just curious, if I wanted to achieve the same results on my iPhone 4, could I use the same PNG file or does it have a different name for the iPhone?

Phone 4 (I think)

Translucent_Base.png and/or Translucent_Base@2x.png = statusbar

goes in:

Your.theme/UIImages

Bar_LCD.png and/or BarLCD@2x.png = background of the lockscreen clock

 goes in:

Your.theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI

also for Lockscreenbar

I find FSO_Lockicon@2x.png works for iPhone 4

The iPad it is trial and error for me at the moment :)

woow this thread is making me think seriously about jailbreaking my iPad

Maybe you should! It's 100% Safe, and 100% reversible if at anytime you need to revert to the factory settings.

I have NO idea how to THEME, but Im loving some of the themes I see here!!! Great job to some of the users!

I am sure there are many folks here who will help you out We can all learn together :)

Really?? I would appreciate it greatly! I've never really asked anyone for help on here, only because I've witnessed so much negatively and some people seem to be annoyed by people who are noob's in certain fields. :)

I would DEFINITELY and ABSOLUTELY be interested in learning how to THEME the iOS platform. I do have experience with Graphic Design and such, so that part I got down.

I'm just assuming here - but when your theme-ing, are you basically accessing the System Directory and finding the standard images (png's) that Apple used in their iOS, and just - changing those images to whatever you like?!

Hi Yes you are correct Most things thankfully are the same name as the iPhone 4

The CFBBundleIdentiferi Database / Bundle name that each icon goes into which change the look of the icon is different.

From Cydia you can download Winterboard and bundle up a Theme so in this theme you could have your wallpaper, icons ,status bar ,dock label badge and so on You can also do the same for a Lockscreen

any elements can be changed as long as you know the name and where it goes

Cydia also provide Free and paid Themes plus a lot more

Remember there are a lot of folks with new iPad's learning.
The best solution is we all help one another and this way we all learn

K, please tell me all the things you used to get this, it is simply awesome.

Thanks in advance

Thank you,

For the lock screen it's titled "Deep Blue Lockscreen" and I just swapped out the wallpaper. Tjdyo is the one with credit for the orig lockscreen which can be found here:

http://macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16809353

The home screen I applied "Shrink" at 66% icon sizes with hidden labels throughout. I also used "Gridlock" in conjunction with "Iconoclasm" with a 7x7 layout to achieve the spacing of the icons. The icons themselves are a modified version of Suave HD. Some of them I have touched up or recreated for a mainly blue theme.

The dock is called "Smooth Dock" and I apologize as I can't remember where I d/l from or the artist for whom deserves credit.

Lastly the font applied through "BytaFont" is called Diego.

I may have missed a couple things but feel free to ask for any help or images if need be. Hopefully this helps and happy theming!

Hey im using the splendid iPad theme it's great and all but I really just want it for the lockscreen. Is there any way to use my own user wallpaper and no dock? Can I delete files in ifile? Thanks.
