though i use an iphone 3gs, and had the 3g before.. in 2006 or 2007 i had been using SE phones. my latest was the wonderful w880i. i loved it for its form factor. i believe it was the thinnest phone in the world at the time. i googled to see how thin it was a couple days ago, only to find the iphone 4 is .1 mm thinnre!

Same here! I'm actually trying out the iPhone 4 for a few weeks and if I like it enough, I'll switch to it permanently. It will be a tough call though as the Nexus has tons of advantages over the iPhone, especially with the Froyo 2.2 software on it.
I actually ended up deciding to reorder the iPhone 4 yesterday afternoon through Apple (after AT&T cancelled my original order) and did the entire order/eligiblity/etc. process on my Nexus One in the car.
Also have the 2G original iPhone since day 1 of release and never put a case on it. It's in great shape but so looking forward to the iPhone 4. I waited on the pre-sale yesterday as I really want the white one. It's killing me to wonder how much longer I need to wait. I can't handle this phone much longer...
We should change the topic of this post to "Show me your stripper phone." Thats what my wife calls it when i start slumming without my iPhone.

I bought a used Blackberry Curve off craigslist. I also got a Nokia PAYG phone. I tried out the Curve and it is AWFUL. I then tried to convince my wife to give it a try and I'd take the Nokia. She said no way.
One good thing has come out of using a Blackberry for the past 2 weeks... I will never argue with a Blackberry user again. I realize it must be jealousy why they defend these phones. The interface is awful, typing on it is impossible, and web browsing on it is a joke. I had a Sprint phone in 2000 that had a really awful web browser, and the BB browser is comparable. That is sad.

I was using a tmobile mytouch, but I am currently selling it on ebay. I canceled my tmo account, and planned on going the cheap route with a pre-paid phone...until I saw the new iphone.
Oh, I can beat you all ... I asked relatives if they had a spare phone to tide me over after selling my 3G.
My sister "kindly" gave me this Nokia ... to say it's a piece of sh*t would be a huge understatement. I cannot send texts on a keypad that has three letters and a number per key, it's just wrong.
