North of Detroit, I've gotten a low of 6 down, 3 up when I only had 2 bars. At my house with 5 bars I'm getting 12 down, 15 up.
Are you in actual Atlanta or Suburbs?I'm on VZ LTE, just outside of Chicago.

And I was excited about getting VZ LTE when my Sprint contract expires in December. I'm 25 miles SSW of Chicago, and my useless Sprint Wimax usually gets better speeds than that. I hope it's just something wrong with your phone, and that you get it resolved quickly (nothing personal, of course).
I'm in Beaverton/Tigard, Oregon. I've only tested once so far and my speed was 29.63 Down, 9 Up. On my iPad, I've had several times when my down speed was over 50. I still have a hard time fathoming speed that is faster than my cable internet speed, which is usually 25 or so.
on AT&T LTE in the Chicago Suburbs, experiencing the same amount of speeds as you are.
I'm in Orland Park. I already have a genius bar appointment tomorrow afternoon. I'm just going to go in & say "Here are my results on VZ LTE and I'm 100% certain these should be significantly higher. What is the resolution?"
Orland Park (SW Burb of Chicago) is about 20 or so miles from downtown Chicago. It has a population of about 70K. There would be zero reason why VZ LTE shouldn't be showing much better results here.
Yea. I'm in Orland too. I will be following along to see how it is resolved for you. I have been looking forward to getting Verizon for almost a year. I have 3.5 months left until my stupid Sprint contract is done. I hope that these are not the speeds that I have to look forward to.
