Ran this test the other day, best yet. Small town (<600 people) 40 minutes south of Indy. Sucks I live less than 5 miles North of this town and can't even get 3G.

sometimes i have that problem. it helps to disable LTE and reenable it.

4G HSPA+ vs LTE in Livermore, CA where i'm visiting. Not much of a difference.

Welcome to TMobile. Over promising and underwhelming

VZW bringing it in ATL.

Band 4 AWS

Wow that's insane. Does the iPad Air or rMini support Band 4 AWS? I have currently have my 1st Gen Mini with Verizon but didn't see anywhere near these kinds of speeds last time I was in Atlanta. Will probably be upgrading to the rMini in January if it does.

Yup, all the newer iPads support every LTE band needed. :D

Just make sure to buy the VZW model. It already comes unlocked and works on every carrier, including VZW. If you buy an AT&T/TMobile version, VZW won't activate it on their network, even though it has all the required hardware.

What's interesting is that all the current LTE Apple devices are only Cat. 3, which is 100 mbps max down. Cat. 4 devices, like the Galaxy Note 3, can achieve even HIGHER speeds on VZW's B4 AWS.

Just a little update, I am no longer getting 0.30s, after resetting the network and restarting the phone everything seems fine now at 10+ download and 7upload. Will post pics later

T-Mobile, Broomfield Colorado. I have heard people accusing others of posting up tests from the middle of the night so that speed tests would be better. How about noon?

And just to be fair, I have AT&T on my iPad. Here it is, 12:14 AM, New Years Day. Nice huh? Now you can understand why I finally had enough, broke my contract with AT&T and moved to T-Mobile. Broomfield Colorado.

Not sure how I got a -1 ping but there it is.

I'm about 10 miles west of Athens, GA. Here's what I just got:

5.24 down, 1.39 up, 45 ping.

Worse than I expected, but I don't use it much around here because of my cable modem, which I have tested at a peak 28.89, 4.68, 15.

Before I got my 5s, I tested my parents' iPhone 5's much closer to Atlanta and they hit about 35 Mbps. I've got a 28 down, 16 up on here from somewhere.

I had a 4s on Verizon before this. That means Verizon 3G. Folks, it's everywhere but it ain't fast. I almost don't know what to do with my speed on AT&T LTE.

Middle of nowhere Southern Maine with one bar of LTE.

AT&T 2x10 700 LTE

Only one matching these speeds around here are VZW.

Had my best the other day. Visiting a town for a doctors appointment for my stepson and hit 59.81 down and 9.3 up. I couldn't believe it. My wife thought I had lost my mind. My power button is on the fritz so no screen shot unfortunately. My typical for my town is 10-12 down.
