Isn't Band 2 in the 1.9 GHz range?

For some reason, my Field Test screen is showing that I am on Band 2, but the Frequency for download is 650. Upload frequency is listed as 18650.

Does this even make sense? Isn't the 650 MHz range the old analog TV band?

Those are the EARFCN values. Place them into http://niviuk.free.fr/lte_band.php and it'll give you the actual frequency (which is band 2 as you mentioned).

Call *3001#12345#*, then go to "serving cell info" and toggle airplane mode briefly and turn it off. The empty fields should populate. Send a screenshot and upload it here. XLTE isn't without its flaws as well, as there are areas where it's already somewhat congested.

sooo?

That's band 13, which is regular LTE. "XLTE" would be band 4.
ok, so what do i need to do about it? or could this just be cuz i am indoors? but i have had these speeds most of the time outdoors as well?? do i need to call Verizon tech support to do something?

Band 4/"XLTE" is naturally much weaker than regular band 13 LTE (in most cases). If you're already in a slightly weak (1-2 bar) band 13 LTE area, chances are you won't be on band 4, especially if indoors.

so you are saying i'm not getting XLTE where I am even though Verizon says i should be??

He didn't say that... He said if you already have a weak signal on band 13, then you likely won't get a signal on band 4, and if you did it would be even weaker.

XLTE icon showing on phone??

Verizon just told me that when XLTE is available on your phone, the icon will show this?? In all these screenshots within this thread, I dont see an "XLTE" icon???
