jealous of all your speeds. I'm in Miami and I've only broken 20mbps + a few times, and once I got 30mbps +. but usually i get this:

this is making me nervous. I live in west palm but work in fort lauderdale. im hoping the speeds are better than that. fingers crossed still waiting on mine.

Pittsburgh

I live a few miles outside Pittsburgh and the speeds are TERRIBLE on Verizon. At home I get about 4-5 mbps, and while at work downtown I get less than 1 mbps on LTE.

Upload speeds are about a constant 10mbps though.

Does anyone in Pittsburgh have AT&T, how does it compare?

Chicago... AT&T

AT&T in Stamford, CT

I only had 3 bars too.

I am just visiting though, so I'll test in New York when I get home.

SE Detroit area sucks AT&T. If I have an LTE signal it's slower than 3G.
Fastest yet is 6.8 DL, 5.3 up.

Mostly it's at 1-2 bars lte, then Switches to 4G 4-5 bars.
So all in all, service is less as it struggles to hold a signal to any given band.

Solved it by turning off lte.
I have no idea if this is because they AT&T just turned on Detroit last week, or if its overly congested- whatever.

I've turned off LTE because I'm very satisfied with AT&T HSPA+ speeds, plus it conserves battery.

Yeah, HSPA+ has been giving me 5 and LTE has mostly been 8 - 10 so far. (I did hit 30 in one spot, but that's not a spot I live or work.)

If it doesn't improve soon I'm going to turn off LTE too. That amount of difference isn't worth the battery drain.

On Sprint, from South Boston last night:

I was able to try in the south coast area a day earlier as well, and got similar speeds. Feels very zippy on Sprint's LTE. Looking forward to when it's more widespread.

Sprint will get there. And when it does its you, I and the rest of their customers will be extremely happy!
