Hi,

Location: Northern VA

Speed test AT&T vs. Verizon vs. T-Mobile.
Same location, different times (although the speeds were fairly consistent for each carrier at different times as well)

iPhone 6S+ AT&T Model (Band 30 support) with different SIM cards

Justin.

T-Mobile in San Diego. Different locations, different times, different technologies. Even HSPA+ isn't bad. Can't wait for B12 later this year to fix the coverage gap inside my building at work; WiFi Calling works well enough for now though.

Slightly OT but on my Field Test screen half of the fields are blank. Is it because I'm on a 6s or is there some other reason?

You have to toggle airplane mode to get the other information to fill in. You may need to do a reboot first, though.

On the 6s and 6s+, the Field Test app will display incorrect / garbage information for some reason.

Dem T-Mobile speeds in Austin tx about 10 minutes from downtown.

Not too pleased to say the least. I mean it "works" but it's like being on dial-up thankfully I don't pay for this.

Slammed at the Orlando "Premium" Outlets. Band 4 (20x20) LTE vs. band 2 HSPA+.

You should try Att there , no service in some areas. I don't know is this "no cell allowed " area? Att was miserable there, but very fast in parks.

A bit slow inside the Office Depot in east-central Jacksonville:

For fun, here's HSDPA on an iPhone 3GS (max download of 7.2Mbps):

Even Wi-Fi tests on it are slow.

Several months later, speeds in St. Johns, FL are still blazing.

Do much talking while traveling around CFL? Been looking at TMo for a while, and recently moving to the Orlando area is making me curious again, but I need a steady voice connection more than I need the fast speeds. I've still never dropped a call with AT&T while traveling, even with VoLTE enabled, but AT&T data stinks in the tourist traps down here (I drive, Florida Mall, etc).

I'm mainly a data person, but I have been on a few lengthy calls during a few road trips along I-4 (NE Orlando, a 20-mile stretch) and I-95 (south of Daytona, what I think was a 60-mile stretch). No issues with non-VoLTE calls that I can remember. I have VoLTE disabled on my 6+ because calls have been noticeably unreliable (calls ending while not even moving, failed tower handoffs, etc.). People say that it's just because it's a 6+ and VoLTE is better with a 6s+, so I just leave VoLTE off to stick with what I know works much better.
