Anyone have one specific to the HR Anti-Glare
9CBB
LP154WE3-TLB1
LG-Philips
display?
Thanks
I have recalibrated with a Spider3Express and the resulting profile is attached. Slightly different than the one I posted before (which was done with a Spider2Express).
thanks for these. i haven't tried them yet, but am wondering:
did your display have a blue-violet cast, out of the box? i have the same machine you do (i7 17" matte finish), and that's what i'm attempting to combat. there are quite a few posts about it in the apple discussions, but since you didn't mention "blue" or "violet" specifically, i wonder if the profiles you've posted were to address that issue or something else.
I guess it's how Apple wants it to be and they'll tell me it's normal.
although i'm as frustrated as you are, i disagree with this statement. they get parts from various sources, and this current lot of lcd displays happens to be blueish. though i hate it, i disagree that this is "how apple wants it to be."
I agree with you 100%.
I received my Mac about 3 weeks ago, do you think Apple would agree to exchange it if I went to the Apple Store and complained? Should I call Apple Care first? If people can exchange a MacBook for a silly little scratch on the wrist rest or a screen that is 1/100th of a millimeter off center like some people have done on this forum, surely they would also agree to exchange it for a screen that is way too blue and a charger that doesn't work, right?
Does anyone here have any experience with this? What should I do? Is 3 weeks to much? If I go, it would be next Tuesday, about a month after I've received it. Should I print out the UPS notice and the Apple order status page?
If there's genuinely something wrong with it, ask them to replace the screen (i.e. as a repair). They did it for me and my MBP is now perfect (the original screen was out of gamut on blues no matter what calibration I did - drove me mad!).
PRO: fast (possible a couple of hours)
PRO: free
CON: you have to get to an Apple Store
CON: you can't directly compare to the previous screen

Extremely sorry to raise a 1-year-old thread from the graveyards, but I really need this.
Anyone got a calibration profile for LP154WE3-TLA2 Hi-res Glossy? Thanks.
