Per the epically, awesome pilot's first post, my iPhone 6 Plus was just flown into the USA.

I am assuming this can only be looked at if you ordered through apple?

UPDATE: I looked at the order confirmation from Verizon, and the Device/SIM ID is there... When loking this number up it says it was made in 2004, so i think this may be the wrong number to use.

Not likely, unless you've received a shipping notice. That load was probably for retail outlets.

You need the serial number. For now, you can only get this on the apple.com orders as Carrier orders won't show up on your apple support page.

I understand we can find manufacture info on that site, but is it safe? I'm not a huge privacy guy, but curious if they are compiling our serial numbers and if so, if they can be used for anything? Just trying to be careful.
