Quick question, a fellow IPhone friend informed me that having so many folders takes up more memory on the device.is this true?

No. Your talking very very small amount of data. Maybe the size of word document but having more folders don't change how much memory is used.

Here is my current setup. Folders with apps mostly used from the folders out on the home screen. The folders names is danish, but they mean: apple, photo & sound, entertainment, personal and others#

people are posting their screenshots on the iOS 7 section now it seems. its quite active over there.

Looking back, iOS 6 had a far better designed home screen. The use of shadows and highlights gave it a real depth and the icons hierarchy, and made it both sharp and clear. I almost wish I could revert...

I usually like to stick with logic board wallpapers and theres a lot of cool stuff that looks amazing on the retina screen.
