Red on Brown. iPhone 6S plus. unedited

The camera was one (of many) reasons I dumped the Galaxy S4 for the 6s+. Just got the phone last night and haven't had a chance to play with the camera yet. Can't wait for the weekend when I can spend time with it!

Took this shot of my trouble maker at lunch.

You're in for a real treat. The 6s+ is worlds better than the camera on the S4. Larger pixels, OIS, tight integration and optimization between hardware and software means that the camera app opens faster and takes clearer pictures better and quicker than the old Samsung ever did. I speak from personal experience.

That said though, Samsung really upped their game for their S6. It's about as quick as the iPhone 6s but has some issues with getting sharp, focused pics in certain situations.

With this quality, I wonder if I should take my Sony RX100M3 with me on vacation. It looks great during bright sunny outdoor stuff, but will it be even better than the Sony during night time?

I will anyway but it's getting close. Sadly still no microSD slot. It was definitely better than my 5s. Time to take some shots.
