it's not that I don't like professional shot... it's just that I feel it looks very "commercialised"... just too perfect for my liking...
I like photos or like to take shots with minimal post processing.... based on my preference, it looks more "real"... than professional shots. imperfectionly raw...

I was wondering if you're happy with video camera quality under indoors conditions/dim/low light?
On iPhone 5s and iPhone 6/s it's rather crappy - too dark, worse then previous models, I'm curious if Apple fixed it?

I believe he's more of a Maine Coon. I have another one that's similar to a norweigan forest cat. They're all rescues and mostly considered domestic, so they're likely a mix of different breeds.
Oh, by the way, this was taken with a regular ol' iPhone 6, not a 6(S). My bad.
Some mushrooms in today's afternoon light.
Processed in default Photos app with Magic Wand and then applied Color Cast: -6.
This adjustment gives a very natural look (very good white balance - see the greens).
Rather good bokeh (roundshaped out-of-focus) also. Not perfect, but still.
Please note how chromatic aberrations are controlled quite well.

I have a 30x40 canvas from Costco of this on my wall, the 12 MP is great for large prints.

It breaks my heart to see mostly on photos with beautiful sceneries (trees with leafs) the aggressive noise reduction of the camera... still not fixed from i6. Even 5S could get more clear photos on the background. I cant believe how actual people that work for Apple dont notice that....i havent yet seen any article for that matter from the Apple bloggers/news sites. That kind of the monet effect on the background is unacceptable.... camera is only amazing on close-up shots.

Ok.....quit complaining about the noise reduction in the photos, it's getting OLD! What is it you want? After all, the only thing we do with the photos taken by our iPhone is text them or post them to friends and family and websites like this. You guys are just nitpicking and purposely looking for something to complain about. SILENCE!!

No you can say anything you want to about the iPhone. I am not against that. I'm just tired of reading all of these posts of everybody complaining and whining about the image quality on the camera. Personally I don't think that the image quality on this new 12 megapixel camera is bad. I think it looks great and I love the increased resolution. I just think that other iPhone users are looking at the photo quality too deeply and really just looking for flaws and some people just get off on finding stuff to complain about. Many people are saying that the image looks like a watercolor painting, but I don't really see that. I have noticed it some at higher ISO settings in lower light but you have to take in mind that the camera on this iPhone is tiny. The optics and the sensor is small and distant objects will turn to mush because of the lack of resolution. If the iPhone is going to produce better images, it will have to have a larger sensor and larger optics to gather more light and resolution to produce a better looking photograph.
