hahah i was in chicago and was legit afraid to have my iphone / apple watch on my person. That place is ( some of it ) nasty, ghetto, and straight up cancerous. I do however agree with you, the photo quality is simply stunning.
yes, no telephoto is the downside. i purposely left my pro gear home for this trip as i wanted to travel lightweight. and for the most part i was completely satisfied with that choice.

- Shallow depth of field so the subject stands out
- Background blue to convey motion (that little carousal was moving at a good clip and I was panning with the phone - if that's the right word)
- Good enough results in medium light

The detail from your bulldog's fur is amazing, however, it is also ruined by visible compression, even when not zoomed in. Should have used ProCamera or Camera+ to capture the losslessly and post as PNGs, this will surely look absolutely amazing.
