Try stepping further away from the wall. Go outside and take a daylight picture of something, like a house or a car. Does it still show? If so, make an appointment with the Genius bar at your local apple store. They'll fix you up.

It's the fluorescent light. The problem exists in many cameras, if you try to Google it. A Genius might exchange it though.

heres a pic OUTDOORS, as you can see, i still see the purple-ish hue on the left side. and i dont think i can get it replaced because im jailbroke and i bought the phone off an at&t user during the summer and i dont have the receipt or anything. im a tmobile user.
Great example of depth of field perspectives- I assume using software like Tiltshift? Is this what you used?
Thanks for sharing --
yeah that was tilt shift
i have a great tiltshift one (imo) but it contains a girl and idk if she'd like her pic posted lol
I was doing some practice and experimentation for a picture with my other camera (not a DSLR, unfortunately, but still higher MP than the iPhone) later. My cat, Fritti, wandered up to see what I was doing. I got this candid shot, and I think it is far better than the set-up picture was going to be. I used the base camera for the picture then edited it in Camera+ before uploading.
