A place called McKee Beshers near Poolesville, Maryland. I think we caught them at their peak. It was truly a beautiful sight to see.

I did an HDR version with my Canon 60d, but this was from my iPhone (not using HDR mode, though). I did a heavy application of denoise from PS Express which makes it look more like a painted sky.
