Yes, anyone else care to upload their video. Hopefully its not just my iPhone 4S :(

I doubt it's just your 4S. I think Apple just makes it seem better than it really is. I have yet to see photos or videos even remotely close to the ones Apple exhibited.

Will someone take a pic under fluorescent lights to see if the blue/green blob is still present?

Ah yes the camera sucks because OP has no clue on how to take a photograph. Sorry but no amount of new tech is going to teach you how to take a decent shot.

Lets wait till some skilled photographers get their hands on them and then Judge.

In general, that video looks quite... off. The clarity is decent, but to me the color looks terrible. I don't know much about cameras and I know lighting affects is and such but judging solely on the OP's video, I am not impressed. It almost looks like it was given a vintage effect.

Pretty sure cell phone cameras are meant for point and shoot, they aren't DSLR's. Besides, he is showing side by side compared to his old 4 of the same footage.

Not really. Apple probably did some post on their video, like color correction and such. I don't think we ever really see their raw footage.

Actually they stated very clearly that there was no editing done to the photos. Anyway, here is a random shot for my 4S:

That shot was taken at around 6pm (i live in the UK) and it was much darker to my eye than the picture shows, this lens lets in a lot more light than my old phone (Optimus 2x).

I think what people are describing as 'washed out' is actually what most photographers would call accurate. The iPhone 4 was well known for taking slightly over saturated shots. It seems that the 4S remedies this somewhat, which is good for people looking for more realistic photos, but not for the Tumblr crowd who want their photos to look 'cool'.

The colours do look more realistic and the image looks fairly flat, a nice starting point for adjustments even in something basic like iPhoto.

Ofc people these days don't want to spend the few seconds it take to adjust the photos to their taste and will just whine instead.

Nice Picture, I'll take more pictures later to see if I get the same result

Absurd comment given we're comparing two shots taken by the SAME photographer.

nice picture of your dog. Don't feel like uploading my test shots but its a huge difference compared to my iPhone 4.
