MacBook
iPod Shuffle (2nd Generation)
Sennheiser PX 100 headphones

^ Why would you almost post something that you've repeatedly said you don't like :p.
In terms of usage and in no particular order;

Nintendo DS Lite
Sony PSP-3000
iPod 5.5G
Macbook 2008 unibody thing
Sony 46" Bravia TV

My list, in order of usage/usefulness (to me; YMMV, of course):
  • iPod nano 5th gen: It stores all my "essential" music and a smattering of random tunes from my Library, as well as a handful of videos, and still has room for recording an impromptu video or two with its camera.
  • iMac (late 2007 aluminum 20"): Still going strong as my primary computer after nearly three years.
  • M-Audio 02 USB MIDI controller: It lets me work on music anywhere, without proprietary drivers to get in the way.
  • Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere: Perfect for outdoors, poolside, in the hotel room; slim and sleek with its own rechargeable battery to boot.
  • iPod nano 2nd gen: Nifty as a backup iPod, and works well with the "Convert to 128Kbps AAC" option in iTunes.

What didn't make my list is my laptop, a Toshiba Satellite 1905-S301 from circa 2003. It's getting long in the tooth, frankly, and it's a behemoth at approximately 8 pounds. It's already had two DVD drives die, so I can't use it as a DVD player, and if I need to reinstall Windows then I'm screwed (I don't think the Satellite's BIOS allows boot via USB drives). I use it for three things:
  • An Internet appliance in hotels that have only wired Internet access in the rooms (apparently to prevent bandwidth leeching by non-guests, and you may be surprised by how many hotels do this);
  • A portable music workstation for running Cakewalk SONAR, and it's only barely powerful enough for that-- it chokes on more than one real-time softsynth;
  • A disaster recovery plan, in case my iPod nanos need restoring when I'm on vacation.
I'd love to replace it with a 13" MBP, but the budget says "uh... how about no". I could replace it with a netbook to reduce weight, but that probably wouldn't run Cakewalk SONAR's softsynths any faster either, and most of the netbooks I've test-driven kinda suck, except maybe for toying with Linux. An iPad won't run the Windows-only Cakewalk at all, and is useless for Internet access in Ethernet-only hotel rooms.

I'm open to suggestions... :)

Everytime I see your posts I crack up and read them to myself in a 'Marenghi-esque' voice...

My gadgets have to be:

1) iPad - I use it way too much
2) Hackintosh - I do miss Linux from a curiosity standpoint, so will be building a new hackintosh and putting linux on this
3) Sony a300 DSLR
4) Sony PS3
5) Apollo Slant mountain bike. Since buying it 3 weeks ago, I've done about 75km on it and lost 3lbs of weight from me, so has been awesome so far!
