I got to Best Buy in Terre Haute, Indiana at 5am first in line. As the manager was coming it at 7am he said they had zero pluses.... I've been to Staples, two wallmarts, and at one radio shack With a second calling me. No luck so far.

I was hoping for some fight stories :-(

There was a ruckus at the Atlanta store that I was at. Apparently someone's girlfriend tried to sneak into the line around 6 AM. One dude wasn't having any of it and the mall cop came running over and threatened to arrest everyone. She skated pretty quickly at that point. Haha. Although I'm not sure he even has the authority to arrest anyone. He thought he was pretty badass though.

Verizon store in Florence KY, i arrived at 5am I was 19th inline. The sotre opend at 8:00 am and i was back at work by 8:45. the store did a wonderful job handling the line and getting the people moved through the store.

I was able to score a 6 Plus 128 gb Silver (wanted space gray but oh well).

I was hoping for some fight stories :-(

I have one!

Instead of an Apple Store, I tried my luck at the nearest T-Mobile store. I got there about 6 AM (drove by at 1 AM, but no one was there yet), and another car was already parked. Eventually, he got out and so did I. We start talking about whatever and time flies by pretty quickly. Probably thirty minutes later, a very friendly African guy pulls up, greets us and goes to the back of the line (which was maybe seventh out of a whopping total of probably twelve people by 8 AM). For some reason, the African guy has to go to the bank. We're all very friendly and keep his spot.

Then the douchecanoes show up.

They're both well past the age of 30, and were by far the most reserved of the group. They see the African guy come back from the bank and instantly, the douchecanoes are rowing their way to him. One of them starts yelling aggressively in his face, mostly calling him a jackass and how he has to go back to the line. Remember -- before they got here, everyone else was on board with keeping his spot. We're all basically rolling our eyes at this guy, but luckily a couple T-Mobile employees see it and threaten to call the cops. Of course the douche stops then and myself and the first person in line go in immediately after.

Even better, the guy yelling in the guy's face goes up to the person who threatened police action, and "deeply apologized" for his actions. You could almost feel the unanimous eyeroll from the employees. It was hilarious. But him and his friend finally sit down and proceed to make fun of everyone in the store ahead of them.

Great people!

Don't give up man. The Apple store said they were expecting a shipment this morning. That's not a bad place to try. When I left the mall at 9:45am they were almost through the entire line of 300+ people. And everyone was getting a phone. Albeit most of them could only get a 6.

Oakridge mall... 25th in line at Apple Store. Scored both the 6+'S I was looking for wife and I. That being said line up a nightmare. Plenty of people cutting ahead and a good amount of scalpers. Started our line up at 2:15pm. Thursday. All worth it in the end. I really hope apple does something for line control in future launches.

Showed up to the verizon in columbia missouri by the mall at 5:30 am and I was the 5th person in line. First two gals only wanted the 6 so us other three were in luck since our store only had three Plus. 1 16gb silver, 1 64 gb silver, and 1 64 gb space grey. Everything was fine until we got into the store thou. The jerk behind me asked for a certain sales person by name and the sales guy went to the back and took my phone I had a ticket for and was about to sell it to the guy until we caught him. So I manged to get my phone afterall. The wait was pretty nice thou verizon employees brought us coffee and free mc donalds food! Everyone was super nice and friendly so basically we sat around talking to strangers for a few hours and eating free food.

I was there last year and it was the gold that everyone was mad about. The girl behind me refused to get anything because they ran out of gold before they got where we were in the line. And I was only about 20-30 back. This year I just preordered.

How was the scare with the gunman? Were you there for that? I was wondering if people were able to get back in their spots when the police let them come back or if people started trying to cut.

We were more worried about our place in line then of anything else. We all got back to our original spots as they told us to leave our stuff there. The only ones that might have had issues were the ones that showed up during the 45 minutes we were by our cars. I am not sure how they sorted out their spots.

Was at the Apple Store in Madison, WI at 1:40 PM, at first they had no 6 Plus in stock, but I stayed in line and reserved a 6. Who knew. Anyways, 1 hour later Apple guy yelled anyone want to change to a 6 Plus. So I raised my hand and went for the AT&T 6 Plus. However, they did not have Silver in stock so I went ahead and decided to get Gold. They also had space grey as well. But for me it was either Silver or Gold.

AT 6 PM I walk out with my 6 Plus in hand.

I pre-ordered, but my brother just went to Best Buy at 8pm tonight. Got in and out in 15 min, with a 128GB iPhone 6. Funny to think how long some people waited in line today to get the same thing.

I went to the Verizon Store (corporate) this morning at 7am. Got out with a 128GB iPhone 6 Space Gray by 10am. Had an iPhone 4 as $200 trade-in and a $50 coupon from Verizon that was mailed to me. Out the door paid $216.

Pre ordered phone was waiting for us to pickup showed up at set time 6:00 pm and was in and out in under an hour

went to HH for Thursday night football... when it was done, I drove by the SoHo Apple store and saw the line had extended to 4 blocks!!! I started to think Manhasset or Staten Island... decided to go Staten Island, Staten Island Mall; was a 15 min drive anyways...

I get there around 4-430am and I see a line of about maybe 30 people... Im here thinking, ok, if the Apple store gets 50 6+'s I should be good... half an hour later the mall security pulls up and asks "you guys here for the Apple store or carriers?" I was like, uh oh, 30 people on line was too good to be true and it was... mall cop goes, the line for the Apple store is around back of the mall and its about 200 deep... more than half jumped right off the line and ran... I thought its 200 already, no chance for the 6+'s... might as well take my chance and stay here cause I was about 12 at that point and with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint, I had a good shot at a 6+, if AT&T gets any...

first guy in line was cool and was saying how he knew the manager and was told there be 11 of them... a girl in front of me was saying shes getting a reg 6 and I was sure there were a few who werent AT&T...

8am rolled around and I got the last 6+ 64GB...but in Gold. =(

either Imma slap a thin case on it or i'll trade it in for the Space Grey 64GB or buy one outright and sell the Gold at cost...

Preordered and thought I could pick up at The Grove in Los Angeles with ease.

Went at 12pm and was told it'll be two hours and come back later tonight. Went back at 9pm and was told they cut off preordered lines. WTF

worst fkn experience ever....meanwhile they let new customers in....unbelievable. never again.

Just got back from Fayette Mall in Lexington,KY. There is still a really long line at the Apple Store. Would have thought the line would have been out by now. Guess they aren't sold out of 6's there yet. I got to walk right by then though...was just there to pick up screen protectors for mine and my husband's 6 Plus's.
