Verizon FiOS 75Mb/s plan
Wifi will never get over 50Mb/s
Ethernet goes up to 80Mb/s

I guess we here in the UK are lucky...my package is broadband only, gives me 125 down and 11 up, and seldom misses a beat now that infrastructure upgrades have been completed.
He lives in the middle of nowhere. If you don't live near a metropolitan area, your internet speeds will suck.
People outside of the US don't realize how huge our country is. Not easy to send high speed internet in every corner of the country.

This is over wifi in my rmbp. I pay for the 105/15 package. The upload speeds are pathetic, but whatever. Not like I upload anything on the internet.

This is my PC over Wi-Fi. I'm paying for 7 mpbs (max in my area) and often get these awful speeds. CenturyLink is TERRIBLE.

I used to live in North Carolina where CenturyLink was close by (as well as Windstream), I paid for the same package and never saw the actual speeds. I definitely know your pain.

Switched to Charter a few months back and it's a whole new world. Really bad how CenturyLink can get away with selling those speeds in this day and age.

Moved to VA and got Verizon Fios. (Windstream in NC was terrible)

I used to live in Missouri, literally mid of no where, still, wifi speed is over 75MB/s for free in my off campus student accommodation. When I move to Chicago, I pay 40-50 for 200MB/s
