How are you MBP owners liking your Thunderbolt port? Do you feel like someone with a DVD disk in 1975?
lol well there is no peripherals available for TB..
lacie is/has released the little big disk/ TB
seagate has announced that the go-flex drives will have a TB adapter
... Also most Blue-Ray titles are still wanky hollywood crap for high schoolers.
Is it likely that the new 21.5 inch iMacs will have i7 2600k CPUs? And does anybody have any idea which GPUs will be fitted into the new systems? (Hopefully the new ATI 6000 series cards, just like in the new MacBook Pros.)
The current 27 inch model has great specs, but it is too big for me. The 21.5 inch is a pefect size for me, but I wish it was as fast as the 27 inch.
Most flippant and ignorant response on this thread.
Have you actually looked at the Blu Ray catalogue?
What a snarky statement.

I won't be surprise if the new Imac got push to June to be same annoucement of the new OS, i rather buy with the new OS than buying the old one anyway, hopefully they let you choose to get the magic touchpad and magic mouse and not just magic mouse. What I really want to see is price drop perhaps $200 in across model.
Super thin imac without the dvd drive [if you need one, just go external]. People will scream yes, but its time for it to go. Apple always leads the rest in this regard; but they eventually come around kicking and screaming. They screamed when they abandoned the 5.25" floppy, then when they eliminated it, also when the imac only had usb ports, etc...etc.
Because optical drives are close to being obsolete; and Apple is always ahead of the curve in this regard.
I don't even know if that is even true, but how are you planning on installing the next version of OS X without a optical drive. What are you gonna do when you are having problems and you can't just boot off of the install disk and run utilities?
