Not necessarily true. The ones being sold on Amazon are the older slippery ones. The Power Support website sells new improved ones.

"Now available in Power Support smooth rubber, this unique material provides device protection and a soft and silky yet grippable rubber. You have to feel it to believe it." - Luvvitt CLEARVIEW Scratch Resistant Case for iPhone 5/5S with Bumper - Clear

Actually, on the Power Support website, it shows the clear version and the description describes that it is in fact the softer material and not slippery.
Just ordered one yesterday.

I just ordered the last one in stock from the Power Support website. I couldn't decide between the Air Jacket or the Luvvitt CLEARVIEW so I ordered both. Which ever one I don't like the least I'll return.

Cool, please let us know on the differences when you get it.

I ordered both the Air Jacket clear from Powersupport as well as the Luvvitt. I am a case junkie.

The clear Air Jacket came today...and it is very smooth and soft, and does have some grip to it. Very, very nice to show off the gold!

Hows the lip on the front of the iphone? EX Would it protect the phone if it fell on its face? It's not hard plastic anymore?

Would you be able to check if a tempered glass screen protector would fit under the lip of the Power Support Air case? Say the .23mm glass protector?

Thanks

It's still hard plastic, but it's grippy. Pretty cool. There is a slight lip, so you can lay it face down on a table. Grab one, it's sweet

I think it would be fine with a screen protector, it actually comes with one!

Will this case attract dust easily? How often do u all take out the casing to clean the dust?

The Air case by Power Support does not attract dust. I ordered mine directly from Power Support thinking it would be "grippy", which it is not. It's smooth and a bit slippery. That said, I do love it and it really shows the beauty of the iPhone gold beautifully.

One minor issue. I did apply the Power Support back protector (yes OCD) and it shows what looks like (but obviously are not) wet press marks against the back of the Air case. Not a biggie as it is always screen up.

As I notice that some part of tge casing dies not cover the brezel, thus exposing. Tiny partical or dust wont enter easily? As Idw dust to scratch my phone

You're right, the Air by Power support does not have a lip that covers the screen protector around it's periphery and dust could theoretically get in.

That's the one complaint I do have about this PS Air case. It's not what I expected when I bought it. I'm pretty careful though, and don't think that will be a real problem. Even the expensive Element Cases do not cover the edges of the screen and could allow dust entry. I've never experienced it to be a problem though.

i like these clear plastic cases, but what i hate about them is they get all scratched up and hazy after a while... good solution would be the clear tpu cases, but those turn yellow after a while..

i know, its better than the phone scratching....

any one have a good solution?

I think the air jacket by power support holds up pretty well against scratches compared to other clear cases.

This has been a problem with me as i've mentioned in other PS threads. I had something coarse (most probably a grain of salt) get in down the gap and it took a little chunk off the chamfered edge and scratched the side of my slate 5. I recommend to always take it off every few days and get any dust or other crap out.

Anyone knows where I can find this case?
Amazon and ebay are out of stock (in US), dont wanna buy from outside us.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark, but maybe Google "power support"?
