Oh cos I think the clear sold out cos of all the new 5s owners. Maybe check it out after a few days and see if they replenish.
I had this exact case on my 5, the clearcoat on the plastic broke down and I could scratch it off. The clear plastic underneath then was dull. For the price I was not happy with the quality in the long term. I tried to get a warranty replacement but never had the receipt and thus they denied me.
They arent out of stock. I know the website says it. I talked with Theresa at PS and they stated they had a glitch in their system due to the high demand for this case. They had no choice but to put the out of stock to stop the volume of orders so they can catch up and fufill. Yeah i know sounds weird. But she told me to place an order and it shipped the next day last Wednesday. They have them available and will ship them at least based on my experiece.
I decided to stay with my Luvvitt clearview. I got the brand new air jacket the one that supposed to be grippy but I found it to be slippery still compared to Luvvitt. The powerSupport also seemed like it would scratch my phone if dirt or dust got in. Power support also seemed hard to take off. Not worth the 31.99 in my opinion. Luvvitt also gives my 5s better protection.

They must have put up the stock now. It said out of stock for the past couple of days.
I've been reading contradicting real life reviews between the air jacket and luvvitt. Some loving one over the other and vice versa. Really confused now. Hehe
Yeah i wasnt pleased at all with the PS when I got it in yesterday. Didnt really offer full protection on the edges. If you drop your phone at a certain angle it can do some damage.
Just what I've been waiting to hear from an actual owner who got to handle the product... Cos just looking at the pictures of the PS, it seems like the edges are not so protected and dropping it a certain angle would do a lot of damage but wasn't so sure.
Yeah if it lands on the front top lip or bottom front lip something is going to break or scuff bad. No protection at all. However my Luvvitt Clearview has a thick lip that covers all the edges all the way around.
Its kind of ironic I order my case yesterday night and already got an e-mail saying it has been sent out. I'm still wait for my iPhone to be shipped when I order it on launch day.
Does dust collect overtime at the edges of the case? Hows your phone holding up so far in this case?
Just don't drop it. I dropped mine just 10 inches. It hit the counter and the case cracked. Phone is fine though. The material is very brittle.
Sorry, I only used that case with the PS back protector on. The case is ruined now though so I can't test it.

I purchased this case. I loved it at first. But it started getting dirt and dust stuck inside on the sides and back. It nicked the side of the phone when I tried to take off the cover to clean the phone.
That's funny, I was just noticing that my Ringke Fusion with the clear back also has a rainbow effect. Not a fan.
To answer another poster above, clear plastic backs will always get scratched up. It's just a matter of when, not if. And they're entirely too slippery to hold on to. And fingerprint magnets.
