This guy blatantly lied to me as there is no "July 7" date nor any information regarding the back protection, but this was the email i received a couple days ago.

Thanks a lot for that ebay link, just ordered a set myself to back up my SPG EX Ultra Crystal set. I like the fact that the ebay set has a cutout for the front camera which the SGP doesn't, I just hope the quality/durability is somewhat similar

Just ordered a set. Thanks for the heads up.
I will compare this $2 product to the $13 steinheil ultra crystal I have.

I bought the SGP Ultra Clear a few weeks ago and had to return it. The film wasn't even 100% clear. I don't know if it was only in the batch I got, but you could see there were tiny grains in it. It was like a bit of the material from the matte film protectors spilled into the clear formula. This one is completely clear though so I'm happy.

I'm glad it's only $2.59 now from the seller too. A 40 cent drop makes it even better! These were the EXACT type of protectors that I saw a mall kiosk selling for $15 each for just the front, same packaging and everything. They must make an absolute killing for each one sold. Buying those things wholesale must cost them at most $0.25.

Do you use a Bumper with it? I've got a bestskinsever shield on mine and it's peeling up a little bit at the top with the bumper.

Yes, I use a bumper, but it doesn't lift up on the protectors at all. Check the previous page for pics of mine on. I'm guessing your BSE shield is a tad too thick for it.

So the generic screen protectors came in today, applied it and for some reason I absolutely can not get rid of the bubbling around the front camera cut out (tried 3 different films). As for the clarity --it's pretty good, but it definitely attracts finger prints a bit more harsher than Stienheil. All in all, I'm not entirely pleased, but for the price it's certainly not a loss. Probably will end up trying out PS when they're available still or going back to Steinheil Crystal Clear since they have all cut-outs now. Not sure yet.

Do yours say Anti-glare and Fingerprint Free on the front (list at the bottom) of the package?

It didn't say that on the ebay page, but that's what came. Haven't tried it yet though.

Yeah it says Anti Glare and Finger Print free in small writing at the bottom of the package.

i got the ebay generic film as well

though the rear camera cut isn't big enough, it is better than nothing for $2.95 to protect the back. I have the front covered with the free Incipio screen protectors that came with the feather

I have a (probably stupid) question about the PS films. On their website, they mention a "pre-installation" film as part of the package. What *is* a "pre-installation" film and how is it used? I ordered a PS Crystal film for my iPad and it didn't include a "pre-installation" film...just the screen protector.

Thanks for any info!

It's a giant sticker that you apply to the front of the phone and peel off to get rid of link and dust

the ones from ebay look great on the phone I just ordered two sets. For under $6 you can't beat it

I ordered one for the heck of it and they suck! Both the back and the front ones don't stick around the cut outs. I can't wait for my oleophobic SGP film to get here.

The ones from eBay aren't that bad considering the price, but they aren't that great either. The first problem was the sticker on the corner that's supposed to help you remove and reapply the film wouldn't peel off so I was left with a sticky residue on the corner of both the front and the back films. Had to use Goo Gone to remove it. Also, if you use a credit card or similar to press/slide/force out the air bubbles, it permanently scratches the film and leaves it quite marked up.

Again, not bad for the price, but I am anxiously awaiting the PS front/back set so I can get these off and get some good film on.

Sure, here are some. My point-and-shoot camera really sucks so I won't be able to do any DSLR type of close-ups, but hope these will work. Let me know if you want a certain angle.

I noticed that in your photo, the cutout for the front-facing camera looks to be an oversized circle but in the ebay link you posted, it's not.

Am I seeing it wrong in your photos?

It looks a lot bigger in that picture than it really is. At least my cut out for the front facing camera isn't that big.

You do know that the sticker is there to peel off the top layer revealing the actual screen protector. Check your protector...i bet you have two layers on there right now...one the actual protector and one the sticker that protects the protector. It is really hard to scratch the actual screen protector. :D

Sorry to hear-- that stinks. I think it's a matter of luck how it comes. I have no problems with the film around the cutouts. For $2.59 though, it's not too bad I guess.

The front cutout is about as big as the rear camera actually.

My front cutout isn't as big as the rear camera cutout. Interesting.
