There is a cut out for the home button just like the ear piece and camera.

The anti glare films won't show finger prints. I am on a mission to find an anti glare back piece if one exists somewhere.

There's a matte finish Wrapsol back piece that I use on mine and like alot. The downside is that I had to buy the whole front/back package but maybe they'd just sell you the back. I didn't ask them.

right, but do they supply a piece to cover the home button?

if not i guess thatd be alright and i could live with the prints....but only if its like night and day compared to say a bestskinsever, are they really that much better?

I'll probably just go naked on the back. I did peel off my SGP anti glare that I had on the front and applied the PS HD anti glare. It's a little bit diferent than the SGP was. I think the PS may be just the slightest bit more grainier but it feels smoother than the SGP.

Once I applied the film on the front, I turned the phone over and the back just looks ugly now. There are finger prints and smudges all over the thing and I've only had it on for about an hour. I wish I could show just how bad this looks in a photo but I just can't seem to show it correctly in a photo.

Edit: photo attached. Also added a photo if the PS anti glare on the front. Looks very clear and more clear than the SGP.

No there is never a piece included for the home button on any protectors I have ever seen.

well bestskinsever and invisibleshield both have home button pieces..

purchased front crystal film looks really good on pic cant even tell its there.
any tips on installing, what is the pre-installation film?

The pre-installation film is a white sticky film that is used to remove and dust and debris from the screen before applying the film. It works very nice. I didn't use it on my PS that I just applied because I did it in my bathroom which is dust free. I've never had a problem with dust in my bathroom when applying these.

I didn't know that best skins and invisible shield included the home button pieces.

@dragonsnake some are saying anti glare actually takes away from retina? im in the same boat once mine arrives
 
Just got mine today.Only took 2 days to get to VA. Yay. I went ahead and installed the aint-glare one. I am normally not that good at these things but it went on pretty good. It definately has grainy effect to it but I dont feel like rubbing fingerprints off it all day.

The antiglare would take away from the screen I feel. The screen has so much clarity that any little graininess would just take away from that.

Phantomskinz does a matte back which you can purchase separately, they also include two for the price, which is already cheaper to begin with. The reviews on here seem very good, I just placed an order with them :)
 
I just installed mine (front and back, crystal). They are pretty nice. The front one arrived with a scratch about 1 inch long, around 1/3 inch from the left. But, they are going to scratch eventually, so I'll get over it : )

And is does the Crystal one leave fingerprints?
 
I just got mine in the mail today I ordered the 3 pack. Right now i just installed the clear back piece and it looks amazing i can barely tell it is there . I has a BSE on the back and I really thought nothing would look better than it boy was i wrong lol. I didnt try any of the front ones on just yet due to the fact I am really liking the SGP ultra fine anti-fingerprint thhat I have on the front.
 
Are there any instructional videos on how to install these? I got mine in the mail today but I want to make sure that I fully understand how to install it before I waste any effort.
 
mine finally arrived, after being shipped last weekend. Install was fairly simple in steamy bathroom using tape to lift and realign edges. The anti-glare does diminish the retina display, making it a little less sharp, but its nothing that you wouldn't get used to (minus the fingerprints). Switching from Zagg, phone feels much much better to the touch, front and back.
 
After a day of use, I can say the film is even better than the old one. It leaves less fingerprints than I remember. Definitely less so than the cheap protector I bought on eBay. Either that or I've been keeping my hands cleaner. :p
 
i about ready to order these. i have on what Switcheasy sent with the Colors and it's terrible. also the cheap 3 pack from AT&T stunk.

BUT i thought Apple wasn't selling these anymore in their store? I was in Apple today and they still sell the Power Support films for the 3GS.
 
FYI - There is no more link to make an offer fo the 3-piece (front and back). I sent an email to the seller...waiting for them to response.

I just noticed that mine has scratches on it, but hell, better the screen protector than the screen. If it gets too bad, I'll order another one.
