I wonder if they'll have the crystals before they hit the Apple store, if the Apple store will even stock them. I'll have to call them on Monday.

i actually called Power Support on this past Thursday and the guy said they were expected in next week (October 29th). Sometimes the store has them faster than they put them up on their website. So hopefully they will get them in. Was not too thrilled to see that they had moved up the date on their website until November. No mention of that when I spoke to them on the phone.

Either way I am going to the store on Friday after my iPad 4 is delivered to have the Crystal Screen Protector installed.

Careful, new front camera is larger on iPad 4 than on 2/3.

Is that the one with the "wet" type application? I have the ps on my 4s and loved it. Was concerned about the wet application on zagg (unless I'm mixing the protectors up).

Yes, had it installed at the zagg kiosk in the local mall. The guys there do installations all done, and have done several for me in the past. No issues at all with the installation process, nor any effect on the phone itself.

----------

The Apple stores have the Anti Glare screens in stock, unfortunately they don't have the crystal ones in yet. That's the one I want. Power support doesn't seem to be offering a protector for the back at all...

I have asked at my local apple store regarding the power support crystal screen protectors. I was told that they no longer carry that model, only the anti glare version.

A full body Wrapsol is the way to go. Had one for the iPhone 4 and after trying multiple protectors prior to it, I'll always use a Wrapsol.

After reading the posts here I just ran out and picked up the AG film. The application went fine, but I'm a little disappointed with the fit. The film is about 2mm short both length and width. Not a huge deal but is expect a tighter fit from PS.

I think a lot of SP makers are doing the short fit on purpose. This is so you don't have issues with certain cases making the screen protectors lift. If they keep them off the edge then you won't have the issue with the cases interfering.

----------

iirc, the apple stores never stock the crystal ones. at least the ones around here (dallas) never did for the iphone 4/4S.

Here in NJ either. Never saw the crystal in the Apple store, only AG. I always ordered the crystal right from PS.

Makes sense.

Haven't had a screen protecter on my iPhone since the 3G model. Never had a problem. I do put one on my wife's phone since here's typically gets lost in her pocketbook with who knows what else. Just a precautionary type thing since she is less careful with her stuff than I am. She also gets a full had shell and silicon case where typically I just use a clip on case for the sides and back.

You'll be lucky if PS puts out a screen protector for iPad 4 by Easter.

it does not need a new screen protector. the iPad 3 screen protector will fit it just fine. same thing with the iPad 2, the screen protector fit the iPad 3 just fine. there were no changes to the screen from iPad 3 to iPad 4, so i have no cause to worry.

According to Menel, the camera opening is larger than the 3.

I don't know who menel is but you could be right given the fact they upgraded the camera to 720 P I forgot about that part. I guess I'll find out Friday when I receive it

He's a poster in this thread above^

Ordered a Japanese import PS anti-glare on Amazon for $21.99 last week. Did not know the store have the US version in.

It came on Sat. I installed and am very happy to report a perfect fit, good quality and to me, very little effect on the display. No more smudges. I like!

It came with two screens, one dust remover sticky, and a micro fiber cloth.

It took a few minutes to get it lined up, but it's perfect with no sign of anything underneath. I had one on my 4 and my 3, very happy.

I recommend.

They're all made in Japan.
