I’ll be returning mine today for a pair of AirPods which I previously owned.

Connection is just beyond terrible to all of my devices. Constantly juggling between one of the kids not working, flashing exclamation, terrible call quality. Finally had them replaced case and all. Same thing all over again. Didn’t matter what device I was using them with.

I advise anyone to think twice before choosing these over the AirPods.

Just posted this in the review thread. Would of put it here, but I just noticed this thread. :)

I've had mine since day one. I'm having some issues with connectivity to my iPhone.

They worked fine for a week and then the left earpiece quit connecting. I would put it back in the case, take it out, back in the case, blah, blah, blah and then it would work. I then discovered the black on black, flush mounted button in the case and reset them. This fixed my issue.

Then a week later, the right one stopped connecting. Another reset and I was back in business.

Couple days later and neither would connect. Reset and back in business.

Couple days later, the right one wouldn't connect. When I got it connected, my phone said it was at 0% charge and the case was at 13%, when it should have been in the 80s. So, for some reason, the right earpiece must have been powered up and using juice, while also pulling power from the case. Just used the left earpiece that day. Got the case and right earpiece charged, reset and back in business.

This morning, the left earpiece wouldn't connect. Reset and back in business.

Now, I use these thing every day. They work perfect like 4 out of 5 days I use them. It's just maddening they don't work every day. Has anyone heard complaints like this? I think I need to call tech support and get some replacements. They are working perfect for me other than these random connection issues.

I have the same exact problem and wondering if I should have them replaced. Has this been fixed and is it an issue with a few bad units or a design flaw?

Wonder if replacing them would help? I have had my pair about a month after they came out and I dont have any drops at all. Do 1hr on the treadmill and rock solid.

Having disconnect issues. Every 15-20 mins it disconnects from iphone 7 plus, and then immediately reconnects. Losing 8 seconds of audio or so. I "forgot device" and then re added it, so far so good. we'll see what happens.

Every few days I have frustrating disconnect issues with the Powerbeats Pro and my iPhone X (on latest non-beta iOS). I'll hear the disconnect sound in the earphones and then my iPhone won't find the Powerbeats at all in the Airplay menu. Sometimes I can go into the Bluetooth menu and manually connect but most of the time this doesn't work either. I have to put the earphones into the case, close it, open it back up and try again several times before I can use them again.

I even made sure the Beats are on the latest firmware with the Beats Updater tool.

I doubt this issue will be replicated when I go into an Apple store, in which they're probably going to blame it on my iPhone and tell me to wipe and setup as new to see if this continues...

Try going into the bluetooth menu and forgetting the powerbeats, then put them back in the charging case and close it, Then while at the home screen open the case and connect the powerbeats. This has fixed the issue for me. I think it was a faulty bluetooth add originally. Somethings glitchy with the pairing process.

I've have my black PBP's since day one and have removed and re-paired them about 4 times but continue to have issues. It doesn't happen enough for me to hate the product but hugely frustrating when it does happen.

I mention later in the thread I got mine replaced and those work as expected.

I have a lot of problems of one device randomly grabbing the PBP when I’m using them to listen to another device.

I got my PBP in sept they ran fine for that month. Yesterday the left ear bud crapped out. Set/reset a gazillion times and nothing. Even tried as a new device on my sons iPhone and nothing, got thru amazon they are sending a new pair shall see how the new pair works very frustrating I love the premise of them they work really well when they work

Yeah mine been playing up like that since I got them too. Definitely hasn't been plain sailing. I get a lot more hassle with them since the latest iOS updates. Can live with it but occasionally frustrating.

I’ve had mine for more then 2 months and have had no major issues, they’ve been awesome!

I have had mine for a month now. They worked well at first, connected to my ATV.

Over the last week I have had frustrating connection issues. One side would fail to connect, or one side would drop during use. Usually, but not always, the left side.

My failures have been coincident with the TVOS update.

I’ve reset and re-paired without lasting success.

I've had 2 pairs just to give them a fair shot and it's the worst connection issues I've ever had. I'm in the gym and my phone is kept on my person and still it drops signal and gives me static. Returning these as soon as I'm done here at the gym.

Mine are now dropping randomly from my MacBook and iPhone. Can't seem to find a pattern to it.

The bluetooth icon still looks connected, but the connection itself has dropped regardless. Need to turn BT off and on again and reconnect.

Quite bad some days now. Can happen repeatedly every few seconds, or last for a few hours. Think these will need replaced unless it's an iOS or MacOS software issue that can be fixed..
