I’ll pay the extra $70 for H1, 9 hour battery life, Hey Siri, and the ability to use just one bud. Plus I like how my PB2 and BeatsX sound.

For me, none of that is worth less durability and protection as they're used exclusively for working out/exercise.

My Powerbeats pro were not sweat resistant and corroded. Apple DID NOT cover them. I was not able to buy Apple Care.

Mine lasted about 6 weeks. Then Apple claimed that I had not cleaned the contacts properly causing my uniquely corrosive sweat to ruin the charging contacts.
Their marketing might show a dripping wet LeBron using his Beats but it certainly does not show him in the locker room afterwards using a cotton bud and alcohol solution attending to the contacts.
