Hey Gavin, I have another request; isn't there a Twitter client that is compatible with PPC? I have tried logging into Twitter while running Safari and it is just unusable. I know Gotfrey has some type of client, could you maybe do some research into it? Or if you don't have the time I can...

Okay thanks! I appreciate it! I've only recently switched back to my PPC for my main desktop, so I am anxious to see how to PPC Archive develops. Let me know if I can contribute in any way possible!

Just remember that Fliqio is flash based and contains an outdated version of Flash--with all it's security exploits--in its resource bundle.

I really wish there was a non-Flash version of this screensaver, as it used to be my favorite.

A port of Unreal to OSX Intel has been made and one for OSX PPC exists. I would use either of those if you want to enjoy playing the game. I have the original for Classic MacOS and it is every bit as fragile as the comments on any Unreal forum would lead you to believe. It crashed on me on the first level before I had even left the room.

Someone built PPC versions.

That isn't really a problem as the contained version of Flash is only ever used to drive the screen saver. It is not and cannot be used by a web browser unless you move the plug in to the plug in folder.

True, but Flash is also resource intensive. It kinda goes against the whole point of a screensaver.

Most screen savers are not light. The whole point of a screen saver isn't to use a small amount of resources, it's to prevent screen burn in and look pretty. Fliqio doesn't use that much power or cycles. Much less than some of the stock Apple ones.

Here is some older software that I have accumulated:
1. Transmit, FTP Client.
2. LimeWire, IRC
3. Meteorologist, weather client for your menu bar.
4. VLC for Panther.
5.PhotoImpression,
6. MacLinkPlusDlx,
7. Stuffit Standard 7.0.3
8. Windows Media Player.
9. TimBukTu Pro.
10. Retrospect 5.0
11. Adobe Indesign 2.0.
12. Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.
13. Adobe Reader 6.0.

All working on my Panther cube.

I guess I'm an anomaly then. I usually just go with the "Computer Name" option nowadays.

I have this as a screensaver. Also on my iPhone.

One request I have is Flash 7. Seems a bit wierd, but that's the only version I don't have (besides CS5). I am trying to collect them all.

I don't think any type of PPC Twitter client is working anymore, but if there are a working one out there I'm all ears. :) In the meantime I use the browser based client http://dabr.eu. Sure, it looks like crap but it effectively removes most of the heavy code and make Twitter lightning fast to use on old computers.

Okay I'll take a look at it when I get home today!

Now, I don't think I was specific enough, I would like to Find Flash MX 2004, aka Flash 7
