Dang. Really wish they had a darker version of the matte clear. Need something with some grip (and can't stand glossy greasy fingerprints) but I'm getting tired of my rubber black version. Any other case suggestions similar to the Air Jacket?

Yes it has a gradient , looks neat. And as far for the lip, yes it does, tiny, does the job .
Yeah , you can see the apple logo clearly. And towards the bottom it gets darker. I believe I posted a few pics . Check them out in the front .
Pretty sure Ringke has something that's almost exactly the same, but cheaper. Neither of them is my cup of tea, but the options are out there.
Yes , for protection there's a lot better options, but if you want a minimal case just for scratches and minor drops, power support is the way to go.
Agreed, have had my non-force clear AJ on mine since November '14, still really happy with it, even if it is hard to take off. I buy one good case and stick with it, so I only take it off maybe once a month to clean the phone and clean out any lint that gets in the bottom.
Don't know if it's thinner but found these on ebay, looks identical but for much cheaper and also these:

A little late, but I picked this up and can't say I recommend it. The front cover is convex rather than flush with the surface of the phone. Find myself constantly having to remove it to clean out the bottom section by the home button. Shame really since it's otherwise a great design.

Looks like there were a lot of issues with clear cases on the Jet Black 7 (not just from PowerSupport, from anyone). I think it's safe to say we can expect the same thing on the glass-backed 8 series, unfortunately. I've always used PowerSupport's crystal clear AirJacket and am disappointed to learn I likely won't be able to use that this time.
So I'm looking at the clear matte version they sell.
Can anyone speak to how that case looked/fit/felt on the 7? PS says the 7 cases are compatible with the 8.
Did they add a lip? I know in the iPhone 6 days, they sold two versions, one without a lip at all (via their website) and one with a lip (at Apple stores). I think at some point they may have added a tiny lip to the non-lip version, but not sure.
If anyone has any pics they can share of the iPhone 7 AirJacket (in any color really), especially showing the lip or lack thereof, that would be great.

^ had no clue about the issues with the Jet Black 7 when I ordered a clear AJ the other day for my 8+. Guess we’ll see how it goes. I’ll report back my findings mañana when it comes in.
I swore off the AJ when the 7/7+ released because of the different design around the lighting port, but I just can’t find any good, minimal clear case so I’m back onboard lol. Went naked for the past year and loved it, but this glass back has me gun shy and makes me think I need a little protection.

I did see that they opened the lightning port and added a second recessed corner, and it kind of looks like there's a tiny lip now (not as much of a lip as the old version they sold at the Apple store for the 6 but still). Overall, combined with PS not replying to an inquiry on their fb page made me just look elsewhere. Have a Peel silver (frost) case coming in on Saturday. One thing I wanted PS to answer was whether or not they would be making crystal films for the back of the 8 like they did for the 4S/stainless iPods. Even with a case I'd still put something like that on, but they didn't reply. Oh well I guess.
No pics, but I can report that there are no “newton ring” issues with the silver 8+ and the Air Jacket. I obviously can’t speak on how it will look w/ the other colors, but luckily I’m good with the silver.
I have to say that it feels GREAT to be rocking the Air Jacket again. People always say that Apple cases are slim and I guess in comparison to an Otter Box they are. But man...these clear Air Jackets are a thing of beauty. They feel so good in-hand....almost no added bulk. Plus they’re durable, crystal clear and the fit/finish and preciseness of the cutouts are always amazing.
My only gripe is that as usual, they’re a beast to remove. But once I figure out the physics and do it a few times that shouldn’t be a big deal.
