SGP does not stay down around the home button & earpiece.

Power Support does not have that problem.

That problem does not happen on the SGP anti glares. Only on the glossy ones. I also had this happen when I accidentally bought the crystal PS instead of the anti gloss. The PS ones peeled up on the corners.

I have the anti glare SGP ones and they stay flat no matter what.

I can also vouch for the Powersupport films. The SPG films and the Invisibleshield films never adhered properly around the edges and the bumper would always make them lift. Haven't had that issue yet with the Powersupport films. I found the Powersupport films easier to install as well but results may vary.

Anyway, just my 2 cents..

Despite what all the SGP employees on this board tell you, their film does not adhere properly. PS does.
LOL they both adhere properly. Proof. iPhone 4 with SGP and the 3GS has PS. iPhone 4 is in a bumper and the 3GS is in an iSkin Revo2 case (removed for the photo).

i ordered the SGP....for the main fact that PS is almost double the price....ive used power support, their product is great, just too pricey.

Will post pics and thoughts when it arrives.

I'd base my decision on shipping. PS rates to Canada are just plain ridiculous.

This is why Powersupport is better than SGP

Many users of SGP are starting to come forward with the same problem. The films don't adhere properly .

Just keep reading the thread. Many are switching to Powersupport and rave about it :)

The Crystal films are the best in the industry. It's pricey but what do you expect for a top notch product? Easy install, no solution required and you honestly cannot even tell there's a front film on the glass

PS > SGP

PS > SGP

The problem is not just SGP specific. I bought some of the Crystal Support films at the Apple store last winter by accident, I wanted the anti glares. The crystal films peeled right off and had all sorts of bubbles. I returned them for the anti glares and never had that problem. The problem is with the non anti glares of both brands.

I highly doubt the PS Crystal films have bubble problems. It's static cling and uses no solution whatsoever. The material is just different. Anyone who has ever owned a PS Crystal film has never reported any issues of bubbling or "peeling" off. I've owned a PS crystal on my 3GS, my GF has one and we've never had that problem. Same with my iPhone 4.

Search these forums for the PS bubbles and peeling. It's where I first heard about it. Anyways look at my SGP and PS anti glare photos above. No peeling on either.

Thickness - PS vs SGP vs Zagg

Would someone please compare the thickness of the PS film to that of SGP. Thickness of SGP to Zagg. I currently have Zagg and have been tempted to purchase the PS but I don't want to sacrifice protection for aesthetics. I called PS and they said that their film was thicker than Zagg and SGP, but I hope to get someone's impressions versus taking their biased word. Thanks in advance.

They really are about the same. If there is any difference in thickness, it would need measuring tools that none of us have to determine this. iPhone 4 SGP on the right and 3GS on the left PS.

The only protection front/back films provide is from getting the natural glass scratched/marked up.

Even if the Zagg or SGP were thicker, it offers no more drop protection than a PS film would. That is what cases are for.

I'm just wondering about the packages that Power Support offers. For the matt HD one, does it come with both a matt front and back protector? The description makes it sound like it only comes with the front.

I want both a matt front and back protector.

Just chiming in that my SGP has no problems sticking, either, and looks absolutely perfect.

Power Support does not have that problem.

The SGP Oleophobic is way better than their Ultra Clear film. I've tried both and the oleophobic is just much better quality. I have had no issues with the oleophobic film bubbling or not sticking in places.

I'd say the SGP Oleophobic is about the same quality as the PS films.

i hope most of you place the protector on in the bathroom after a nice hot shower.

I see many people complain about dust or something underneath it...i never had a spec of dust under mine when i do it in the bathroom. The nice humid air helps keep dust down to a min...which helps alot. Also, it helps with the placement itself.

And helps those water sensors turn nice and pink. :p

Dont take it in the shower with you, just wait till you get out =) spend 1-2 mins in there putting on the protector and then leave....just dont slip and let your phone fall in the toliet...
