Not my usual every 2 year cycle (Apple Card 0% for 24 months), but this time I will change from 16 Pro to 17 Air.

I bought the 16e a few months ago. I wanted the 17 pro, but the prices in Turkey are more than double (like ~$2500), and installments are prohibited. On the other hand, 16e is enough.... I dont know.
However, if I were to buy it, it would make a lot of sense to get the regular 17 if the 120hz and 6.3" display rumors are true.

Air would get my money in a heartbeat if it wasn’t nearing the size of an iPad. 16e is checking all the boxes for now.
I’m curious about the Air. If it has the ProMotion display it’s a contender, but I worry about the battery life it’ll deliver. I’ll likely end up with the 17 Pro Max to replace my 14 Pro Max unless the Air sways me. The thinner and lighter design would be nice.

I'm not buying a phone this year but my wife is very excited and hopeful that she will like the color of the orange pro. She really wants an orange phone.
I am ready to hang up my 12 pro max for a 17 pro max. Mainly for the larger screen, more ram & upgraded cameras.
I am using a 16PM and like it. For the new offering, I am still undecided between the Air or the PM. I need more facts before I can make an informed decision.

None of them. I'll get a new phone when I need one, and I am unlikely to need a new phone this or next year.

If the specs are the same between the Pro/Pro Max, I think I’ll downsize to the Pro this time. If the PM gets a better camera system, then I’ll have to grab it. Don’t like dealing with FOMO. 😩
Nah I'm passing on this year. Until Apple makes a reasonably sized phone again - I have no interest in a pseudo-tablet.
Same. Riding out my Mini 12/13 until they are dust because Apple won't be making another mini.
Still rocking my iPhone 12 Pro Max, have no plans on upgrading anytime soon
I'm one of the very few people going for the standard 17 I think, upgrading from a standard 14. Hopefully 120hz display, slightly larger screen and (hopefully) slightly better battery life will make it worthwhile.
Have a 16 pro in mint condition showing 100% battery, so easy pass but 17 pro if I were in the market. Hard to go back after having the telephoto lens.
I have the 13 Pro right now. I was thinking of the 17 Pro or Pro Max. It really comes down to the camera improvements and if I feel its worth the cost of upgrading.
