Strange that the store has been down so long, no?

The store usually goes down at 11pm when they are going to start preorders at 2am. 11pm to 2am is 3 hours. The store went down at 6am so 9am will be 3 hours. I think we just have to wait a little longer. (All times in Central time)

I've just checked Apple's support system status in the UK and its got store downtime for another 45 mins. So I think its going to open worldwide then. What's it say on the US website?

Slighly set my Pebble watch to alarm me at 3am (so as not to wake up the lady), checked and saw it wasn't up, back asleep 5 minutes later.

OK, how were more of us not aware of this?! This needs to be in every OP that concerns pre-orders and when the store may be back up! Will save a lot of F5 smashing and/or sleep deprivation.
