I've been thinking about pre ordering both Black and White colours for the new iPhone! When in my hand I'll know which is the one! :)

Anyone else planning on doing this??

Guess I wouldn't have any bother getting my money back on the one that I didn't want eh..........

I think its a waste of time, effort and money. You can see what a white and black iPhone looks like right now. Based on the rumors you're not going to see a massively different iPhone. See which phone tickles your fancy now and pre-order that particular color

Yeah, maybe you're right! Effort wise anyway, as I guess selling options are limited. eBay fees are ridiculous etc. Like you say time also. But I think either colour, when in your hand will be different than images online when released.
I'm 90% convinced on Black by the way......

Some apple stores allow you to change your mind. When the 4 came out I was dead set on the black but after playing around with one in line while waiting for the next specialist, I changed my mind even though my preorder said black.

Ah right, didn't realise this.

It takes a special person to go white :).....I am not that person. I really feel like you either love it or hate it. To me, a White iphone is very girly and out of place with all other electronics =/

Yup, I hear ya. My iPad is Black. Wife's idevices are White, so Black is looking probable. But like I said earlier, might be different in the flesh......

the two-tone may give it a different look, and the lack of fingerprints that show on the white is really nice, but I just think I would get sick of it after a few weeks and be wanting the black.

I can tell you I'm not special and I fell in love with the white iPhone the day I saw it. Have not owned a black device since my 3GS which IMO did look the best in black..but the iPad and iPhone 4 white ruled

male or female?...I would say 9 out of 10 white iphones I see belong to females. You now have be wanting to do a poll just for curiosity sake

I'll be doing this... but one is for me (black) and one is for the girlfriend (White)

I'm a guy and will be getting the White iPhone. Pink might be for girls, but those that think White iphones are for girls need to get their heads on straight.

it is just a matter of opinion....the same way i would never wear a white watch.

Seems a bit OTT if you ask me personally, but each to their own and all that.

I've always had black iPhones (original, 3G & 4), but went white for my 4S.

I'm thinking of going back to black for my 5, but I can see your logic in getting both home and then deciding which you're going to stick with.

Re returns, I think in the UK that if you buy online you have to return online, but if you buy in store, can you return online to save a trip back to the store?

But not only do you need to see if you like black or white, you need to be sure which storage size is best for you and which network is fastest with the best coverage for you.

Just to be safe you should pre-order all of these:

Yet guys like you have no problem driving white cars.

if you cannot see what I am talking about, then why even have this conversation? I also wouldn't want a gold wedding ring...does that mean I shouldn't have a shade of gold car? Also do not care for white shoes :p

I would say most people agree the white iphone is more feminine, doesn't mean a guy shouldn't own it and that is not what I am saying. I just do not really care for white as an accessory.

I also would consider myself very metro-sexual, so your argument is invalid! I think I shop for clothes more than any woman I know :)
