Pre-Ordering Not Worth It Anymore?

Reserved iPhone 4

I know for me I had accidently reserved 2 iphone 4's and never received an email confirmation, so I started a new Apple ID and reserved another one. I did receive a confirmation for that one. I then called Apple to see if my reservation went thru and all 3 are reserved for me and I only want one. So I know where I live there are going to be a couple extra available.

I'm about to leave to the AT&T store and just pre-order. I guess mid July isn't that bad but still going to try to scramble for one before. i'll cancel the pre-order if anything. I live in south florida so all the apple stores are packed even if there is no new products out. lol
