I eat nachos with cheese for dinner after working out. I also have a protein shake or two. I won't wake up as sore because the protein will be assisting my muscles in post-workout recovery.

Maybe it won't do as much if you have chicken breast or steak for dinner, but protein does help someone's body on several levels.

If you actually read the thread you will see I said that if you have a healthy diet then you don't need protein supplementation, nachos and cheese do not in any way shape or form belong in a healthy diet. I can't really think of many worse things to eat after a workout to be honest, just grill some chicken, boil some rice and you'll reap the benefits.

Any self respecting athlete or exercise enthusiast knows that although it is vital to eat healthy consistently, one can have a cheat meal once every week or two.
 
Yes, I take it before and after. On a morning that I do not workout. I take it once as my breakfast.

so is that your breakfast everyday? and how much do you normally take? what kind of workout do you do? sorry for all the q's. I am really only looking for something for my morning workout that's quick and not gonna make me feel bloated and help shed the fat..and something thats not gonna be bad for me.
