People who want to use certain wifi services but can't because of an oversight on Apple's part in how the new auto-login thing works? Just a best guess...
It will be released on July 8th.

I think it will be a bit longer than we think. There are still international markets rolling out with the 3Gs, and they wouldn't want to have a SW update going out in parallel with market launches, which already have an impact on servers, activation, etc..
So, I think we are looking at AT LEAST end of July, and possibly in August.
